@@taylor4tails Will do! I got the starter culture from ebay :) Super easy to culture, just potting soil, bread + yogurt every 2 days and a cool place, preferably in basement or if you want the best result, you can put them in wine cooler like mine.
@@taylor4tails Yeah! Just remember to swap out the bread every two days, otherwise they'll start to get moldy. Also, the soil needs to be moist but not too wet/ muddy. If you have any questions, feel free to send me a message here or IG
I love acans... would you consider them beginner to intermediate coral? I'm putting a list of acquisitions together that are hardy and beginner friendly.
Hi Mike - I reckon Acans are suitable for beginners as they are not very demanding in terms of light & feeding. As long as the water parameters are in check (calcium, alkalinity, etc.) they should grow quiet well.
Sorry mate! My copepods culture keeps on crashing and I have been trying a few different method so as soon as I found one that works, I will post a video about it.
@@nugo6589 One thing you can do is to feed them. The other thing is to figure out why it bleached in the first place. It could be because there's too much light so you can lower the intensity of the light down if that's the case.

This channel is bound to blow up in time with the cinematography/editing/music. Keep it up!
Thank you for the kind words, Clement! 🙂
I was just thinking the same I love how it's filmed its beautiful
Me to wowed, what are you using?
We definitely want a white worm video
Me too :)
The channel is cool af.....nice style, great music 😎🎼🐠
Thanks Andy!✌️
omg the red acan looks fantastic
This tank looks awesome 😍.
Thanks man! Not as good as some others but I'm pretty happy with it :)
loved the chill vibes, that coco worm sweet! my lfs had an all golden one but it sadly got sold fast
Oh wow! Never seen one with solid golden color. The ones that I saw are mostly white
Nice job! Must be in the health care field.
Thanks mate! Why healthcare? Haha
Great vid! What is the bent tool you are using to remove the coral off the frag plug called? Thanks !
Thanks! Not sure what that scraper is called but I found it in arts & craft store
Perfect Chill song :D and yes are the white worm vinegar worms?
Thanks Taylor. White worms are much larger than vinegar worms / banana worms and they grow in soil. :D
@@BlueReefTank Yes please show us :D where'd you get them from? Keen for some new live food to feed the tank. Are they easy to culture?

What the camera used for those awesome close-up shots, great job on editing after.
Thanks mate! I shoot those with my 100mm canon macro lens :) Best lens to shoot close-up / tiny things
What's the camera itself?

What settings are you running your Nero 3 at?
I run mine really low at 20% speed only. My corals seem to love it
@@BlueReefTank Is that a stock return pump?
I changed it to the sicce 1.0 🙂
@@BlueReefTank That's exactly what I've got too! It seems like the flow is too much sometimes, do you have a nozzle diffuser?
@@Kremlin60 Yeah the flow is quite strong and I still use the same nozzle. I just put corals that like high flow in the front haha
🥰😍👌👍
would you show us how you culture copepods?
Sorry mate! My copepods culture keeps on crashing and I have been trying a few different method so as soon as I found one that works, I will post a video about it.
@@BlueReefTank that sucks! I hope it works out in the end and please share if it does. I love your Phyto culture and how aesthetic your setup is!
@@TheQuarkQuark Will do mate! I really want to get that video out as well 😅 Just haven't had much luck with the culture
How do you know the euphyllia is bleached? I think mine is too, has the same color
All torches should have a dark coloration. it signifies good health
What HJ Sin said is right. It needs to be darker in color. When they are that light in color, that means they've lost their zooxanthellae
What can we do to recover the color and health of the coral? Thanks for your time!

Is it possible to dip any type of corals? Or is it meant only for a certain type of corals? Thank you :)
You can dip all types of corals 😁
@@BlueReefTank thank you so much for all your help :)
I think that “baby ricordea” is actually a Yuma
Isn't Yuma a Ricordea? haha
@@BlueReefTank my bad you’re correct, I was thinking of Florida ricordea because that just what people refer to it as by me.
Did you glue the corals on ?
Are you referring to what glue I use?
@@BlueReefTank yes
@@timdaly4993 It's called the AMS coral glue but you can use any thick gel glue for corals.
You don't have to drip acclimate corals, just temperature.
I find that I have more success with the drip acclimation method :) but thanks for the advice
