I am glad Dr Abel Damina had to calmly tell him he is asking him alot of questions but he is not allowing him to explain.
The interviewer had a motive but the wisdom and knowledge of Dr Abel Damina was supreme.

He is a sound mind. He has studied the scriptures beyond WHAT it says to WHY it says.
I told my friend that what stuns me first is how he has unlearned everything we were taught from childhood Sunday school to start afresh.
@festuzshenen9868 my issue is he shouldve just made it clear as he started with. The action is not wrong. Giving alms, paying contributions. They're not wrong or outlawed in scripture. Its the attitude you do it with. The journalist seems focused on doing those things to gain rewards. Even if you do gain rewards or blessings, that should not be the motivating factor. Simple.
My problem is am becoming addicted to listening and watching Damina's videos.

Jesus became poor that through his poverty we might be made rich. Without money pastor Abel can't build his church, he can't fly to abroad to preach.
No he is actually twisting and perverting it, the problem with the interviewer he doesn't know the word , yes Jesus was raising offerings not from unbelievers but from believers Luke 8:2-3

@@teddykingmusic what you have quoted does not say that Jesus raised offerings from the women. It says they gave of their substance (meaning they gave from what they had). Jesus never needed to raise funds. when he needed resources for anything, he gave thanks and it was provided by His father!

Wow! I have never seen Abel Damina in such brilliance in terms of his mature grasp of scriptures, and Christian doctrines. "Jesus only is our message" indeed. We should focus on Christ alone in our preaching showing clearly all that He came to give, which we can't get from elsewhere. As for all the things that even unbelievers can get or have without Christ, those should not take center stage in our messages.
This interviewer has a very base knowledge of God based on pentecostal prosperity message. How I wish he would be humble enough to listen and learn.

Dr. Abel did a good job also using his the scriptures to justify his claims. Bravo! But let it be known to us that God is tooooo biggggggg to be boxed by one’s own understanding or interpretation of the scriptures. God gives different rhema of the Word to His children at different times. I have personally received different meaning and understanding of the same scriptures at divers times and situations. And they will all make sense and be relevant to that prevailing time or season. What God cannot do, does not exist. With God, nothing shall be impossible, with God all things are possible to them who believe. The Word of God is so, so deep and sooo sweet. It tastes differently each time you eat of it. A good example of that is our carnal food. The egusi you cooked today will always taste different from the one you cooked last week. True or false. Abel Damina is the real deal. He is teaching what other men of God don't want or are afraid that if we know, we may stop giving them money not knowing that a lot of people have been sowing and tithing but no results.

This interviewer really is something else, why interview someone if you're interrupting answers to come up with your own? The calmness, patience and intelligence of Dr Damina is admirable. If it was me, I would have probably left the interview once the interruptions happened repeatedly. But thank God for the peace that comes with sound doctrine, Dr Damina you did very very well.
Honestly I'm shocked the interviewer did that. This is not an interview but an ambush. Even if Dr Damina made any wrong submissions, I would not have held him up to it. Regarding Cornelius, I think we can conclude as Dr. Damina said, that God saw his heart and decided to bless him. No-one advised Cornelius beforehand to give in exchange for Salvation or the baptism of the Holy Spirit. That is what I think is important here. Giving should be done from the heart, not on someone else's insistence.

Does the above verse no corroborate the issue of "a memorial " before God? Do we have an account with God from where our generosity may draw a claim from? Like psalm 20 where God hears me in the day of trouble and REMEMBERS MY OFFERING?
The blessings that came to Cornelius was still salvation. Which was promised to the world even before Jesus's incarnation. His giving did not earn him salvation but rather favour in the sense that he was the first recorded gentile to be saved and filled with the Holy Ghost.
