    Well done. Think I'll find a close trail and a coffee tomorrow by god.
    You should have a look at the Fellow Prismo aeropress attachment - replaces the bottom basket with a gasket-seal version (with similar metal filter) that can only be released under pressure. Don't weigh much more and let's you fill up the main cylinder without the plunger, e.g. you don't have to invert it and carefully balance it like you do here (which is just like what we used to always do). We've had ours work flawlessly for over 3 years now and just bought another the chuck in the camp gear. Awesome bit of kit.

    Nice stove,I will have to get one for myself. One thing Mark,next time u enjoy coffee outside,bring a small bag for trash for your coffee grinds,everything that we bring to the park comes out with us.

    Great video! Love the little dance near the end lol.
    That looks like a great little stove and cook kit. When I do a day hike it's usually some Ramen or a small dehydrated meal and some water.
    I wonder about that cobblestone road. Thanks for sharing all the history that you do!

      You got to have a laugh 😁 I blame the coffee. I took food but I had porridge not long before I left so wasn't feeling hungry. Thanks for the watch and comment cheers 👍🏻

    Good to see you out getting some fresh air Mark. Never seen the Triflex design before. I guess it's another way of reducing weight. There are some super lightweight stoves out there now.

    There was a lot in this walk Mark from rabble rousers to really old roads. I love them ancient ways and roads - ideal spot for the Sotos combo and a coffee to. It looked a good bit of kit. Watched end to end. Very pleasant. Mark

    Thanks for sharing video - nice to see. Two quick questions - is the triflex better than the four flex? And on gear - what make of hat is it you are wearing - looks nice a light? Thanks

    • @WelshGallivanter
      @WelshGallivanter  4 года назад

      Hi John, the hat is the Tilley Wanderer T3. The four flex is heavier but takes a larger pot. Triflex is light if your shedding grams. All the best Mark

    • @johnwhite5318
      @johnwhite5318 4 года назад +1

      Thanks Mark. Need a new hat to protect the old head and that looks like a good one. Am thinking of getting the windmaster but wasn’t sure what the main difference was between the two flexs. Cheers!

    Hi thanks for the video. Quick question, can you boil water with the lid on? I’m guessing not but thought I’d ask. Thanks

    • @WelshGallivanter
      @WelshGallivanter  5 лет назад

      Yes you can with the windmaster burner as the flames don't lap up the side, with other burners it will and burn the lid, cheers
