    Could you lubricate with graphite?

You could... but I'm not sure how much it will help. 1st you'll have to get the rosin off the screw if they are stuck, then graphite might help a little to make them function a little better but the rosin will be more sticky and eventually replace the graphite.

My fine tuner screw won't stay on the arm and keeps pushing itself off and isn't centered on the tailpiece... Am I just out of luck and need to buy a better fine tuner?

Fine tuners do have a useable life and once they get to that point, it's SO MUCH better to just replace it than attempt to bend the metal into something useable. Good news: they aren't too expensive.

The d string screw is outside of the fine tuner. Can’t turn either way 😮😢

I’m not sure I understand but I’m going to guess, tell me if I’m right or need to try again. Under the tailpiece the screw works against an arm like thingy (that’s a technical term…) and the screw has pushed its way off that arm and is now wedged in there like crazy. Am I close? If so, loosen the string at the peg to reduce tension, then you’ll need a pair of pliers to get a good grip on the screw, then turn it counter clockwise to loosen it, keep at it, this may take a moment or three. Eventually the screw will pop free of the arm and you’ll be able to set it up again correctly. Inspect the surface of the arm where the screw sits, sometimes these have worn a bit and need to be filed flat again or replaced to prevent this from happening again. Hope this helps.
