When I did performance tests of my HD7 I was able to get a 2.7 second zero to 30 on dirt which really impressed me. My friends renegade 1000xxc got a 2.2 second O-30 on my same drag strip so that really impressed me with the 700’s performance. I just can’t stress enough how much I love these single cylinder rotax engines!
That fan blade on the Polaris must be a pretty common issue. My father’s 2020 HL 850 has had it happen with the stock fan, had blades break off the stock fan, and had blades break off cheap replacement fans. It’s so bad that we keep a spare pair of cheap fans at the truck on a ride. Otherwise it’s been a good machine though
@scouttrails4488 yeah the clutches are a lot more efficient but it's literally shutting the throttle valve in order to make people buy the 1000 LOL. Good thing there's a couple tunes out now
It's several Hundred cheaper, but I would much rather a performance tune than a Can-Am tune. Can-Am always tunes way too lean and I don't like all their torque limiters and crap
As I responded to all the other comments about this... the 850 is purposely tuned poorly. It is the 999 1000 motor with a bunch of limiters. It's intentionally clutched to limit the RPM

The clutching is awesome
Knocking it out of the park this morning! Haha great stuff. Better get back to work. Add it to watch later. Good luck to 100 k. You deserve it.
Not a mud nut or quad nut but I appreciate the nerdy stats. Some really good videos for people that are into this. Merry Christmas.
Love the videos homie.

My stock 24 850 XMR did 0-30 in 2.15 and 0-60 in 8.74 seconds
That puts the 24 850 a lot closer to the 25 850 than I thought it would be.
I mean they should be exactly the same because Can-Am is purposely restricting this motor to make it the same LOL
@
I would have figured the 25 850 to be a bit quicker with the more efficient clutches

How’s the pricing on the tunes?
Hopefully it’s not more money to change the tune and clutch weights then to just buy the 1k

What effect did the 1000 gear in the 700 in the race? Or did you swap the gears back to stock
These are stock gears
Do you plan on testing how 33s would fit the 850?
Watch the previous video
Yes. 32 Aztex fit well. Slight rubbing at full lock. Just barley
Y dose it take so long for the 850 to rev out?

Helmets must be a option lmao 🤣🤦♂️
Polaris always having issues stay can am 😂
