This supposedly "google overide" is deceptive. There is another account on the phone which most of those "helpful" videos do not show. That is why it looks so easy. Once you get to the "Notification category" screen and you press either the menu (upper right) or the Account icon, NOTHING HAPPENS! That it where it ends.

This probably used to work but the latest Android patch closed the loophole.
I've done over 10 phones and this one silly obama phone giving me the hardest time.
