I'm pentecostal but I've got to tell you: I've been watching pastor Doug for a long time now, he's a very good man, I appreciate his strong faith and love for others, may the Lord Jesus Christ bless him and all the seventh day adventist church born again believers!

If you listen to him then you should know that first and foremost he's a Bible Christian. When asked what his church believes his answer is "the Bible," which should be everyone's answer that says that they are a follower of Christ Jesus. But he will tell you that we are protestant Bible Christians and if he found an other denomination that follows the Bible more than the Seventh Day Adventist churches then he wouldn't hesitate to go to that denomination. His amazing quality is that while he read The Bible in that cave he understood the truth of it and then went and sought so many different denominations to find the denomination that followes the Bible the most. He says that we need to look for a church that follows the Bible, as long as you go to a church that's following the Bible then you know you're in the right spot. However, if you find That the church you are at has discrepancies with what the Bible says then you need to inform your church and have them understand and change and follow what the Bible says or he says you should try to find a church that follows The Bible more. The thing that I appreciate the most about him is how much he understands the Bible and can share this information with people so simply that even children can understand and more beautifully than anybody else I've ever heard. He gives you Christ's message and nothing else! He shares what Jesus would share, he says what Jesus would say, he lives the way that Jesus wants us to live and he helps us understand how Jesus wants us to live so we can live like Christ. The Bible is our instruction manual, Bible stands for basic instruction before leaving earth.

I’m Native American & we have interesting stories similar to Noah & the ark. Idk where they believed we originally started out from, but they believed they got on a boat before the flood came & they were telling all the animals to get inside. When the door closed they got to looking around. They asked if they got everyone inside in time. They believed the trickster rabbit 🐇 instigated the flood. He made it on the boat safely too even though he caused it. They told how the animals weren’t used to being cooped up & started getting rambunctious. They talked about how the hills & valleys were created. They seen the rainbow 🌈 and called it the cutter off of rain. They said the rainbow is to always be reverend. You can look at it but never point at it bc your finger will fall off. Lol. I guess we traveled far away. Our tribes motto was to always go forward & never go back.
The Dine (Navajo) have a really great story about a world wide flood too! Pretty amazing stuff!

I really appreciate this series. There is a lot of Jesus in the prophets. You could do a six part series of Jesus and the majors minor prophets!
And the rest of the judges! And New Testement characters like Paul, Luke, and Simon Peter and Andrew. I also think it'd be interesting to have a series on each of the disciples lives maybe? I wish there were more besides fictional accounts like the Chosen (which I love reading and watching) I know there are some parts that are wrong but I really enjoy reading about of the backstories of characters like Matthew or Simon Peter that could've really happened.

The Holy Ghost pours out his Spirit and brings the increase in the name of Jesus. The latter rain proceeds the second coming and it is what waters the seed. Without the Spirit of God no one is saved. Believe in your idea of Jesus till the end of time, it does little good. You need to accept his ambassador and representative. So when the Holy Spirit shows himself and is rejected that is the unpardonable sin. To grieve the Spirit of God is to reject life.
The exalted witness of Jesus Christ (King David) is reporting for duty.
He was a man whose tongue held no lies,
For he was the direct descendant of our father in the heavenly skies.
Born to a body of fleshy sin,
Though what laid beneath was unlike the rest of his kin.
Jesus had the utmost grace,
Never being wavered by evils face.

Despite this he and his disciples continued their teachings,
Where on occasion they endured terrible beatings.
One of the twelve apostles turned to black,
No longer having Jesus's back.
Judas Iscariot had done Satan's bidding,
And it is in hell where he now is sitting.
Jesus died on the cross to pay for our shortcoming,
However don't be saddened for if you believe in him you will see him at your homecoming.
There he sits at the right hand of God's throne,
Being the voice of truth and love that we all have known.
Satan's tongue is coated in a layer of deceit,
And he tramples over promises with his feet.
He's a being who is bound by deceptions,
Whose very essence oozes with misconceptions.
He struggles to look you in your eyes,
For his gaze holds nothing but lies.
On occasion he will give you his hand,
But don't be fooled by his stand.
He seeks to corrupt your heart,
You would be wise to avoid him from the start.
Seeking quick pleasures and casting aside love,
He traverses this land with push and shove.
Now Lucifer was once not lost,
But pride blinded him at a cost.
Disobeying God he waged war,
Becoming detestable to the core.
Today he is the ruler of Earth,
Though for all his power he has no real worth.
However most of us have still been sold,
Giving into sin and becoming cold.
Nearly everyone is a puppet dancing on strings,
Marching to delusion for their unjust kings.
My people have given into lust,
Becoming robots full of rust.
However you my child are the exception,
So when you meet me don't forget to mention.
That you alone have been granted the key,
And before your glory they shall all bend a knee.
P.S.- Not too long ago I was very bitter and destructive. Literally I was covered in blood from head to toe and ripping off nails and things of that nature. In my mind Jesus was against me, he had a vendetta against me which I couldn't account for. Then slowly but surely I started having these revelations, and began delving into the word of God. It seemed like my agony was not in vain. The things which held me back eventually began to propel me forward. The darkness began fading away and an unspeakably bright light was surfacing. Jesus told me that he had to break me in order for me to rediscover who I really was. Sort of like a phoenix rising from the ashes. Today I am almost fully healed in every conceivable way, and things like being a virgin and being covered in scars I strangely enough take much pride in. I took up my cross and followed Christ and in doing so I discovered the greatest love of all.

I've been listening to the cover to cover series. A curious question just came to me. We are given so many Bible characters who are called a type of Jesus. I'm not saying I disapprove, the similarities of their lives to Jesus are fascinating but why do we need to show these great people as a type of Jesus? Is it a basis or foundation of the inspiration of the Bible to make these comparisons? Again, I'm not criticizing, just wondering.
Zechariah was not around in 760 b.c.
He was a post exile prophet - right? Read the beginning of the book. It says it was in the days of Darius, king of Persia. This is 6th century, not eighth. I'm sure you've realized your mistake! Your teachings are very solid! Just an oversight im sure

"Jesus answered and said to them, “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.” Then the Jews said, “It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and will You raise it up in three days?” But He was speaking of the temple of His body. Therefore, when He had risen from the dead, His disciples remembered that He had said this to them; and they believed the Scripture and the word which Jesus had said." John 2:19-22 (This is what Jesus actually said) What you quoted: "Then some rose up and bore false witness against Him, saying, “We heard Him say, ‘I will destroy this temple made with hands, and within three days I will build another made without hands.’” Mark 14:57-58 (This is what Jesus was FALSELY accused of saying.) At around 14 minutes, you say that Jesus said the thing He was falsely accused of saying. This isn't correct. You need to be careful about quotations. Jesus was speaking of His body- death and resurrection. He wasn't talking about destroying the literal temple and raising up His church. I think this is significant enough to correct in future presentations and that is why I'm bringing this up. Iron sharpens iron. God bless.
