Some amazing terrain you get to ride there. Really starting to appreciate the Sherco brand. They do a nice job and the bikes off the floor offer a lot in the market compared to the competitors.Would love to try the 300 2T. Would love to hear your impressions on riding experience 300sef vs 300 2T? Thanks for another great vid
Just picked up a 300 SEF last week. Really lugs well, light and nimble. Makes the choice harder between 2t and 4T. All comes down to preference in power delivery and where you ride. 2T typically does better in technical areas and 4t cant beat them in the flowing singletrack. Sherco definitely increased 4t capability in the gnarly conditions with the 300 SEF.
@@grey-adventures I agree a lot more than I thought I would - that 4T is the only one that I think can give 2T fans slight pause before choosing. Its just so nimble and the 300 4T size is so unique and more manageable on tight technical trails.
Most of my weekly riding is like 200-800 meters. With road trips into the interior that see maybe 1500-2000 meters occasionally. I find in the summer I run the carb like 124 clicks from Rich - maybe down to 114-116 in the cold winter months. Yes I do find I need to adjust my SC2 but it take 30 seconds.
You mentioned you had a Beta 2T before you purchased this Sherco 300 2T. What do you prefer on the Sherco over the Beta 2T? ie.: power delivery, ergonomics, handling, suspension, etc. Thanks
#1 was turning radius is much sharper #2 the Ergos and your position up over the bike in combination with the tighter steering radius makes the bike feel a lot more nimble. #3 power delivery is less new rider friendly as the Beta motor is very smooth and rideable BUT the sherco does have greater low end grunt and pulls hard. #4 suspension is significantly better but thats a little unfair as this is the factory edition comparing to the standard 300RR Sachs suspension, race edition Beta compared to the Factory sherco would be a lot close comparison I suppose.
@@thesmoness now the TwoStrokePerformance kit is out for this bike, you should get it. Im thinking about a 250 just because I ride a RM 250. I wish I could ride both before I purchase! hah.
AFTER WATCHING COUNTLESS HOURS OF THIS TYPE VIDEO I HAVE COME TO BELIEVE THE MOTOCROSS BOOTS CAUSE MORE INJURIES THAN THEY PREVENT . ANYBODY ELSE NOTICE THIS ABOUT STIFF TALL BOOTS?
Idk when I broke my leg last summer it was on my trials bike wearing Alpine Stars Tech T trials boots. Which are even more flexible than the Tech 7 enduros - so I have since upgraded my enduro riding boots to Tech 10 even more stiff /shrug
Nice trails mate, some of the best I've seen. I picked up my Sherco 1 month and I love it! Enjoy👍👍👍
First off Gratz on the bike. So much fun. Yes we’re spoiled in this area we have about 6 different mountains all within an hour.
Where are those mountains? I'm jealous, we have nothing that sweet around.
@@crazybalony this mountain is in Squamish BC - we have two main mountains in this area both about 1 hour drive from where I live. Very lucky.

I have started to think about taking both bikes and try to do a back and forth test ride.
@@thesmoness please do. I dont think there are any videos of those two yet.
Czy sherco działa ? Jaka opinia twoja ? Jak awaryjność ?
At what altitude do you ride and what setting are set in your carb?

@@thesmoness so your saying the power delivery on the sherco is a little more aggressive than the beta?
Sweet bike!
What part of the country is this video/ride ?
It’s in the lower mainland area of BC Canada. Near Squamish.
