The show's original sponsors (when it appeared on ABC's Wednesday night schedule at 8:30pm(et), right after "DISNEYLAND") were American Tobacco [Pall Mall, featuring Ernest Chappell as spokesman] and General Foods [Instant Maxwell House, et. al.]. This episode was originally telecast on January 18, 1956.

Cy Harrice appears in the first ad; he was the one who usually delivered the famous tag, "...and they are MILD!".

The bulk of the "MGM PARADE" shows featured recycled short subjects and highlights from the studio's vast inventory; this edition features a "John Nesbitt's Passing Parade" segment, "People on Paper" (1945), and Carey Wilson's "Ghost Treasure" (1941). "Ransom!" was released a week after this telecast; the idea was to promote upcoming MGM films for a period of two weeks before their national release {usually, Murphy would chat with one of the stars of the movie being promoted during the second week}.

This definitely didn’t have Ghost Treasure, in whole or in part. Do you have any other MGM Parade Shows with it or otherwise know how I can view it in full? Thank you in advance!
