Hi John, had this coach tell me for the longest time i shoukd toss the ball into the court but as you demonstrated it feels like i am over extended. These is no way to get a deep rschet drop that way.
I have not seen Novak throw. If you have a link to a video of him throwing, I'd love to see it! Based on the history of development of his serve motion, I would say he never learned to throw before starting to play tennis. Thanks, John

The tennis rqquest drop is much different from say a football , where the arm is kept at 90 degrees upright , watch "how to throw a foot ball by Joe Montana". It would make sense Novak would throw different he is used to dropping his hand below his elbow with the elbow pointing upwards, no one in baseball or football does that.
