just ate the organic ones (Ecuador). These are the best tasting bananas on the planet. Whatever you are doing, keep doing it. Also give those workers a bonus, they deserve it:)

Thats only water.. the pesticide was used before harvesting to control pest. The water used to clean dirt on the banana skin

Sorry, but Del Monte Bananas are the worst I've ever had. I'm eating "One" brand Bananas now, and I'm amazed at the texture and full Banana flavor that they have. Try them yourself . . . .

At least this is about banana's and not animals. I recently bought Del Monte ORGANIC banana's # 717524111258 Net WT. 3 Lbs # 105832 for a $1.64 & they DO NOT taste ORGANIC at all! There is a difference between organic & non-organic in taste. The bananas that I got from Sam's Club ORGANIC Del Monte was NOT organic, it tasted horrible. I had to throw some of them away I did though take a photo of what was left of it and the label. I got ripped off in the taste quality I tried to get over it, but it bugs the heck out of me.

I have to tell you DelMonte has the most terrible banana. I bought them twice at a Walmart and waited till they got very ripe at home. For some reason it feels like the center, the core of the banana is always harder than it should be when ripe! The number one selling banana is Chiquita I did a Google search. And they are right Chiquita banana are the best! I could get my Chiquita banana at my local grocery store no more Walmart crap brand.
