Actually, the lyrics in nero's track are only provided by Daryl Hall. The reaching out for something to hold was originally heard on the 80's Hall & Oates classic Out of Touch. That said, it is not a sample. Daryl recorded the Out of Touch lyrics, and the new lyrics specially for Nero's song.
It's not the only song he sampled from when he did that "reaching out" song.. He also sampled Hall & Oates - Out of touch for the vocals in the song :)
