As funny as that idea is, a lot of guys are forced to take plea deals to even hope to get back out. Not all are criminals, some guys are in the wrong place at the wrong time and their DNA gets at the scene. There's plenty of stories of dudes being forced to plead guilty to crimes they didn't commit only to get 30 years despite a plea deal and not get out for 10 when the evidence comes out that they didn't do it. Criminal justice needs some serious reform, especially forensics and the way sentencing works.

You can't just feel something about the crime itself.. sure they may not be showing it in the moment but they regret it somewhere and to some extent... But don't act like a piece of shit saying they only cares about the sentence.... OF COURSE THEY CARED ONLY ABOUT THE DAMN SENTENCE.... that's the fucking moment reality hits them and you expect to be able to draw your attention away from hearing a guy telling you that you are gonna spend your entire LIFE in prison... Holy shit it's just retarded how you think sometimes and I'm saying it in general... Everyone thinks the exact same without looking at the context or situation they are currently in... And these things are usually days after the crimes so chances are they already felt bad before let alone their entire life ahead of them in prison.

How to show care? I'm not even looking for these people to care about the crime they've committed. If they're someone that understands, they wouldn't be committing the crime in the first place. I do feel for people that did something like murder for murder revenge and stuff like that.
Majority of these people are someone that commits the crime thinking they can get away with it, or gets so damn high when in rage, and does it thinking like the world revolves around them, when in that type of state, and did it for their own good. Already felt bad? What type of people are you talking about?
Ever heard of disgusting criminals saying they'll come out to murder more? Threatening judges? I saw a video evidence, where one criminal murders someone, when they're pleading for their life, and still kills the man, with a smile on his face. You saying that you feel something even for someone like that? Cause I don't remember the case name but that guy was crying and begging for mercy when he was sentenced to death.
Are YOU fucking telling me, to show some mercy and forgiveness for any person doing their time?

      M. Amador I actually believe the cop was innocent because of everything in the case. As a cop and detective you need to have a mindset of "innocent until proven guilty" of which the female detective investigating the case had the mindset of "I'mma prove he's guilty!!" Which first off red flag there. Secondly the way she handled the case was going around asking about a sexual assault, which if you didn't know is not the way to go about it because then they could confess for money or fame or something of those sorts. She should've conducted the investigation in a more appropriate manner such as asking about incidents with cops recently yet very vague-like, "when's the last time you made contact with anyone in the department whether it be regarding speeding etc.?" Or "have you had any bad experiences with any cops lately?" And see where that leads on from there don't just straight up ask. Thirdly one of the girls who "confessed" admitted multiple times prior that nothing happened to her until, what I presume, she gave way to the detective to satisfy her, give her what she wanted, or get her to shut up because after sitting down for so long in a interview or whatever type of set up it was I'd be tired of constant pushing and eventually cave in so I could be let go. Fourthly no actual dna evidence was found on his clothing besides on the outside of his zipper, of which the woman who they found it to be said that she wasnt sexually assaulted. Fifthly another woman who "confessed" described it to be a "short black man" of which holtz is much taller than her, yet she described him being shorter, and he, as you can, see looks to be of some Asian or white descent, which isn't at all him. Those are the primary reasons I believe he's innocent and I actually feel really freaking bad for the guy because he doesn't deserve it at all.

The 263 year guy had a case completely built up against him in the craziest way, the witness's identified him as a short black man, when he's six three and half white and half asian. the female detective just went around to women saying a cop raped them and they were like sure let me collect a lawsuit check. It's crazy that he's behind bars for this. The initial woman that alleged he raped her didn't have any of his DNA in her mouth which is the hole she said he raped, then he didn't have any DNA on him from that woman at all so it's just mind boggling that he was convicted.

Jen LuvsHorror life is the only way to guarantee the time. Life is only 25 years without a chance of parole. Because it is a finite amount of time, they may also stack the sentences. Hence the conservative life sentences. But he wasn't given a determinate life sentence (life without mercy). So he'll likely be eligible for parole after serving 8 years of his sentence. And that's assuming that he didn't have a direct appeal to reduce it. From what I'm told, they happen on most lengthy sentences. There is so much more than just making a video to truly understand sentencing.

@@804Kimo I wonder how long it would take for the Saudis to pass up our incarceration rate if they were no longer executing people by beheading and crucifixion, but instead incarcerating them. I'm not sure of the exact numbers, but it seems to average about 1 beheading every other day. I haven't found the numbers for crucifixion, or firing squad. And that is just little Saudi Arabia. Now think about the executions in China. Granted the numbers have dropped from the12,000 estimate in 2002, but the number is still in the 1000s. They even make it lucrative with the clever execution vans that they use to harvest the organs from their victims. I don't usually like to use such harsh words as incompetent dumbass (I have been trying to quell my cheekiness lately), but I would like to point out that your quick logic doesn't consider the whole picture.
