- In today's video I'll be melting down the last of the crutches I had laying around. They were just taking up space so I decided to melt them down into an ingot and skull mold. @@southaussiegarbo2054 I live in South Wales and it's normally pretty cold and wet! Average temp for us is between 13°c and 20°c during the summer as we live on the coast.

Ya know ya just freaked out “Bigstackd” by just trashing the rubber, nuts & bolts!!
Lol. A place called "which bin" mentioned to me about the pvc rubber off wire not being recyclable when i linked em to bigstackd channel 😂
I am very skeptical that any recycler in the world processes random bits of unsorted plastic and rubber. Very likely they just landfill everything other than some specific food and drink containers.
@@awldune in most cases to small of a item it gets under the belts and does damage.
In many places now of australia you can put bottle tops and straws etc into a plastic bottle put cap on an into recycle bin. It is then recycled as a mixed plastic useally into items that can include rubbish bins

I just got up a bunch of crutches myself. Of course I turned them into a bottle rocket battery.
On a different note that poor abused cast iron pan just makes me sad. I love rescuing them from their abusive homes and bringing them back to their glory.
Try forging another Fix-It Felix Jr hammer with pure gold or Nordic Gold and put it on display.
Lol he isnt rich enough to get pure gold in large amounts 😂.

Happy July, 2021. Have you thought about making 5" figurines of Iron Men, Spider Men, or Hulk's Team of Smash (comprised of the green man himself, Red Hulk [Gen. Ross], A-Bomb [Blue Hulk{Rick Jones}], and She-Hulk [his cousin] +1.) The actual Hulk has actually been gone from the the movies (that's a Scrull imitating him, and Ross is not actually dead in the MCU). They should make the Team Hulk movie, using what props you may make for them from in a live action animation.
All my projects are made from melted down crutches seems to be the only Alluminum scrap i can come across , Alluminum is Alluminum .

Like I was saying in the aluminum can/butterfly knife video about the pitting, I don't really see it all on these. So maybe this give some weight to my idea of it being caused by the wax and paint on the cans.. ANd if it turns out to be true at least you'll know that it's gonna happen when you melt cans, and you can do something to mitigate it (I do think just letting it chill while melted for a bit, prolly till you stop seeing any smoke, should prevent it - worth a test) :)

I'm assuming you scored these in a thrift store as I was recently in one and found several crutches for just $1 each,
My first thought was the same as your own - jackpot - easy, clean aluminum.
But then I thought about just how ridiculously expensive crutches are and how many times friends have sent out calls if anyone had an old set laying around that they could have so I left them for someone who was going to need them far more than I did for the ashtray I was likely going to turn them into.
Since this is RUclips comments I'll toss out the disclaimer that this isn't an attack or even a criticism on my part, instead, I'm just sharing my observation with the hope that anyone else who stumbled across some will leave them for someone who honestly needs them.

I'm not sure how this video makes me feel on one hand it is cool to see the melts and the pours but on the other hand i can't help but wonder why you melted crutches they should of been donated to a hospital :( my bad for thinking this :) but could of helped 2 3 or even 4 people to walk :) oh well nice mirrored finish :)
