I was going to suggest memoriam as well because they have members of both
Adding another Memoriam recommendation. Their first two albums were pretty good, but the newest, Requiem for Mankind, is excellent.
There's a new one coming early next year which hopefully lifts to greater heights again

Wow, I was hoping that the new material from Benediction would be good... but I didn‘t expect it to be THAT good. Amazing vocal performance, great riffing, superb production. I can‘t wait to get the full album!

Dave Ingram is back in Benediction and I have to say, he sounds awesome! He's one of my favorite death metal vocalists, and this song is a good example of why. He also does a fantastic metal podcast, which is just so cool imo. Anyway, looking forward to this album.

Sounds like the album will pick up and build upon where "Transcend The Rubicon"/"Ashen Epitaph" EP left off before the two more groove oriented releases with Dave (which I still like). This track reminds me A LOT of "Unfound Mortality". 1.30 and the solo REEK of it. Super excited.

The good old early 90's, when i was skipping school and instead was hanging around in a nice music shop. Searching for some Hard Rock / Heavy Metal stuff and finding instead bands like Benediction. That was nice times, when anything was just easy without the need to worry about something.

saw them live with dave hunt, back in 2004, nominon was support band and i was blown away with Darren's iconic white guitar. still have shirts from the gig, bought benediction tour shirt and nominon shirt. i stil remember it, i went to merch booth, and there's only PAUL SPECKMANN selling merch lol. the guy introduced us to Paul, he said "this man played death metal before there was death metal". great dudes, all around. but i still want to see em with Ingram.
