Learning to install a nuc of bees is actually quite simple. Take your time and be careful with the girls. Every beekeeper has a special relationship with their bees, and it starts here. When you transfer bees from nuc to hive, it's a magical moment. You're giving your bees a chance to grow and flourish, and to help us in return with honey and pollination. This Nucleus of bees are out growing the Nuc box the Queen Bee has been laying eggs very well and I am seeing 4 full frames of brood across the 6 frame Paynes Nucleus box, it is time to transplant them in to a full size beehive and allow them to build up for winter.

Last year I noticed we had a lot of bees hanging around and felt sorry for them so I had the “genius” idea to put out some sugar water for them….
    Two Words….
    BIG-MISTAKE! 😮😅😂
Massive amount of bees came for that!! so many bees here!! My poor chickens and quail had to fight the bees to even be able to eat their food for weeks. Apparently they wanted the pollen in the feed too. I got stung twice because I use lemongrass oil for an ailment and apparently they like that too ( I was Queen B but in a good way 🤣) but you have to be careful not to smoosh them when they’re on you or you’re stung.
It was awesome and terrible all at the same time. LoL
Now I know the guy down the road is a bee keeper and his bees are so happy to hangout with me a couple times a year (((but no sugar for our winged neighbors ☝️ ⚠️ lol)))
As much as I love bees, I will never do that again. I will just watch your videos instead. You got this!! ✋😬😇😂

Lol thank you, I used to keep them in my garden but Teddy got stung a couple of times (can't keep his nose out lol) so I got an apiery to keep them.
We feed the bees sugar syrup at particular times of the year to help them along but feeding them during the honey flow will get sugar in your honey, as for pollen the bees use pollen as a protein source to feed Brood.
I will be doing a video on feeding bees soon as we feed them in the Autumn to build them up for winter.
