you can always get floating shelves for your extra yarn, that way it’s not taking up floor space like regular shelves and the yarn isn’t cluttered on the floor
You can always use the wall behind your door to hang bags with command hooks. Another place to find storage is above you on your wall. You can always put a long shelf on the walls that aren't cut off by the closet and door. Put your currently used yarns up there. I have tots with all my yarn in them. There is so much because I'm a yarn hoarder that finding storage solutions are few and far between but I don't want to get rid of it because a lot is discontinued.
Omg I'm doing the same thing in my yarn room today. I, too, have so my excess yarn and wips and bags of yarn and finished stuff and all my shelves are full. Was starting to look like an episode of hoarders ha ha, so I'm trying to get reorganized myself. You did a great job on yours. Hopefully, I can too!!
Over the door shoe organizers. I hold my knitting looms in it. They can also hang on some shelves to. Also useful if you keep oatmeal or grits packets in the house abs etc
I'm watching you live but do not know how to stream I love your patterns so much and I have made quite a few. Your directions always come out great. Sometimes people don't explain as well as you. I love your new craft space. I'm not Carlos btw just using his account. Thank you so much for all the tutorials
I set up shelving in my kitchen for extra yarn after my walk in closet overflowed and my storage room became my computer room, lol And yes, I have totes in the basement also
Suggestion: if you’re not turning over your yarn rapidly, hang a thick tapestry over the yarn shelves when you’re not using the yarn. I’m thinking prevention of UV damage/fading from the more direct sunlight.
Why don’t you crochet baskets to put all that extra yarn in. Great way to use up scrap & left over yarn , it’s an excellent storage solution and it will make your craft room look stunning
Try different hook styles and pair them with the yarn you’re using. There are two main hook head styles: in-line and tapered. Try both; I prefer tapered. Metal hooks tend to glide more quickly but that works both ways-they drop stitches more easily which of course slows down work. I save them for yarn with some “tooth” like wool and looser-plied yarns. Wood hooks have the most “grip” on the yarn so they’re good for slick yarns like silks and some synthetics. Wood against wool is going to be slower because both the tool and the fiber are “grippy”, but that’s just what a beginner needs. TL; DR, adjusting hooks to both fiber type and your way of working can have a big impact on your speed!

You could do your video again when you did a 30-day challenge to get rid of yarn, so I think you could do that again.

Have you considered getting an air purifier for your office? Breathing in all those acrylic yarn fibers can't be very good for you.
Sou sua fã brasileira gatinha bjo
vc sabe onde ela compra as linhas?

That dead space on the corner, between where you put the big shelve and the wall…that’s not good.
