My question is… you can record yourself, but if you push the camera button, will the sound be there on the phone??? I want actually record myself playing songs straight from the iPhone camera without having to process it thru the PC
hello, just watcho ing yu my phone is an Samsung J7 Crown and with your help i can rest assured to benifite from this insightful video.Because the website for irig2 is loaded .I set up my account. BUT ! i couldnt successfully use the software apps. This basic setup should prove to be used on a bigger amp ,right ? with a 4x12 Cabinet . Pardone"but i didnt catch the using only the phones camera. Just 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 .Excellent cables by the way. So this will work. Havent tried yet. Its 4:22A.M. M.S.T. got a blood work followup at 8:30 ...but i have done this . I have an Beringher Wah pedal with 2 out puts 1 an out bypass , and i can also run my Dean Bass thru my small amp { 4 ohm speaker.} Keep up the good work. Your RUclips Channel is Stellar.. I’ve had that problem too. Could never figure it out. However I decided to buy RUclips premium which allows background play and that’s how I add my music to bass covers
Hi i got a cable adoptor with 2 sockets. So i can insert my guitar and my phone music so i can record both sound through my other phone. But my problem is. What kind of cable should i used for my phone? The 2 or 3 rings?
So in my situation I have just one pedal. An overdrive. So I would plug guitar cord into right side, then left side goes to irig, then from irig to amp?
Rene Reyes Well this is what I figured out to help out with your research. It records great when you use say a distortion pedal. But if you want to use your amps effects kinda outta luck. Just records a clean signal even though I can hear a distorted sound.
@@baceinyoface well, I’m trying to play through headphones but it’s not working. I’m using a lightning adapter to plug into my iPhone. Could it be the adapter isn’t TRRS supporting?
Colton Boyd the only thing i plug into my phone is the headphone jack it comes with, the irig goes between the amp and effect chain (like i showed) you'll be able to record video and guitar audio at the same time.

you can, but you need another cable to connect Irig and effects pedal.

amp>Irig>pedal then guitar or bass..
then try out both sides of the Irig when plugging in.

get 2 cords, place the irig between them then connect between amp and instrument.
