Kinda disappointed they didn't allow edit styles to take the cel shading away, like they did w the school anime skins. It was a great feature
I'm not entirely disappointed in not having that option, but I will say I am pretty surprised regarding that. The academy champions skins (the ones you mentioned) had that in chapter 4 and even skins like "mae" from chapter 4 season 4 battle pass had a cell shading off option. As well as court queen erisa and retro Zoe clash or whatever her name was so yeah, that bit surprises me.

@Koopkiris Thats true, it largely depends how the IP owner wants to show the collab in game and what they agreed to put in the game. Some giving a good amount of fan service and thought to the collab, while others just make a contract with Epic just to earn some quick bucks
the having options on none or cell are really bad executed tbh

1200 for a skin and 2400 for a bundle of 5. pretty decent. if those are the prices, then I might get the female bundle since I'm kinda undecided on which one I want.

I was waiting for this one! Not a crazy B-Ball fan, but definitely gonna pick up one of these skins. I always love the customizable skins.
I don't mind cell shaded skins. I just wish we could remove the glow on the skins. Usually cell shaded anime skins don't have this annoying glow or shine.
The backbling also has a secret reaction when you take damage, the little fishstick gets angry if you get hurt

4:11 every pickaxe sounds like that when you swing it in locker which is a bug. Even a pillow would fall victim to this bug

Im trying to do the Miami heat design but the red they have does not look red on my screen
I think there’s a bug with impact sounds, in the locker a lot of pickaxes just have the default impact sound
It kinda seems like you're just better off spending 300 more vbucks for one or the Academy skins
both are good but personally these skins offer way more flexibility
@@YBGMFTB I'm kinda confused by what you mean by that. Doesn't having the ability to have shading on or off make the Academy skins more flexible? That and the different clothing options?
@@bubba8701 youre right but to me the academy skins have weird shades of colors, you cant have a hard red or blue or whatever. they got these terracotta type colors and theyre nice! but it makes it harder to make combos, especially if youre like me and refuse to mix regular backblings with cell shaded skins lol and these skins have actual colors AND shades and its so nice to have both

The cell shading has been an issue for a long time now and a good amount of ppl have voiced their opinions to epic to at least offer a On/Off feature, I give up on these type of skins at this point lol
if they don't have it it's probably because nba didn't wanted them to have it since every original cell shaded skin we got since the academy champions has a on/off feature
