Oh Julia I cannot express how much you have destressed me in these times when I so nervous about my upcoming viva on Tuesday next week. Felt so relaxed to know that I am not the only one who have realized some silly spelling and grammatical mistakes in some part of my thesis just now.. lol. I was feeling so embarrassed to face my examiners after I spotted these silly errors. And many thanks for all your tips.
Massive congratulations. Passing a viva is perhaps one of the best feelings in life. And getting through and passing a PhD at such difficult times is an amazing feet in itself! One of the best advice I've recieved for my viva is to completly switch off the day before the viva. No reading, no checking back your thesis, no notes, nothing. Just completly relax your brain before the big day. It felt kinda scary at first, but it worked! I had a proper nights sleep, as well as the appitite to have a breakfast before the viva!
Julia -thank you so much for this informative video - some really useful tips & you have such a positive can do presenting style its really inspirational..
This video is brilliant, Julia! Thank you so much for sharing your tips and PhD viva experience 😀 I’m saving this video for my future self when it comes to my viva prep! 😁

In your viva you shouldn’t be asked anything that is not in your thesis. No need to read new papers as it’s outside of your thesis.
Hello.
I have a question about studying neuroscience. May I send you an email? I don't use the social media you suggested.
