A popular theory is that the earliest "paper" was a by-product of silk. Fibers of silk float and gather in thin layers on water's surface. During the Qin and Han dynasties, paper making gradually became independent from silk and expanded the range of materials. Eventually Cai Lun (who is recognized as the inventor of paper) standardized the process of making paper from plant fibers. This is just a hypothesis, but many scholars agree that the invention of paper is related to textiles and has a long-term process, rather than being invented by one person.
I realized that this is the same process as how paper is made in China. I thought that every country would make it in a different way but it seems the same to me.

Hi, i really want to know what plant they are using for it to be totally white in color? Coz most of the time using all natural materials ends up with a yellowish product. 😍😍
How many later of A4 size paper can one of these bowl of leaves make 1:28? All the paper made in the orocess in this video is just from this bowl of leaves?
I want you to do experiment, while moving frame. you take empty plastic floating rod used for swimming. You fix on the both sides by making holes in the rope. You put the frame on this. This process can help you slightly to bring the frame up . You must experiment. Jai shree ram.
It's true that ancient China had a great influence on neighboring countries. However, much of the culture at that time remained in Japan and South Korea, not in China. Do you know that there are many Tang dynasty architectures left in Japan? In addition, are there bonsai, zen, fish dishes, kimono, emperor and era system, matcha in modern China? No. It is in Japan.
I love watching this process. It is interesting to see the different ways paper is made in different parts of the world.

Wooooow!....From long time ago I wanted to see the process of making the paper.... Thank you for this video! 👍👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

As an artist, imagine going to work on one of these sheets, having seen the artistry in simply producing your media?

It looked like bamboo. But I looked up traditional Korean paper and it may be mulberry pulp.
