I rarely pick up designer bags at a thrift or the bins. My best source for these bags is from an estate sale where you can view other name brand items in the closet, which give a good certainty of authenticity. Then inspect from there. SPRAY SOME HAIRSPRAY ON THE INK STAINS IN THE LINING, LET SIT FEW MIN AND THEN FINISH CLEANING.
Absolutely! 99.9% of thrift store/bins bags are fake but we also have our 2 top sales ever purses from those places, go figure! haha. Thanks for sharing.
I am in Kentucky and everyone, men and women and children are rocking the hey dudes, shoe stores around here are still selling them for $70-80 a pair, I can’t find any good enough to sell
That's good to know. We have a bunch of flea market resellers that shop our bins and we use them gauge the shoe market and they've stopped picking them up so naturally we slow down too. It's like they used to pick up On Clouds that were all worn and now they have to be pristine. Fascinating really . Thanks for sharing!
It is great that you guys are able to film at “your” Bins. We are not even allowed to take a photo of a piece at my Bins! I look up things with my phone and they haven’t yelled at me yet, but if they catch you taking a photo or a video they threaten to throw you out if you do it again! This is in NJ, just outside of NYC. They definitely yell at people a lot at this one!😂 Despite this, it is so much fun digging at the bins! I also use your strategy of looking through the picked over ones!! So much calmer! And still great finds!! I love that find of the Lulu shirt! People passed over it because it was understated, but not you! Good catch!
That would be so frustrating if our bins was so strict. We were up in NH and it was like that, we were taken back. We're blessed to have a pretty good bins, in regards to the people there.
They used to be a great flip, could easily get around $30 for a pair, but ever since Hey Dude opened their discounted online eBay store (and they're also being sold at Marshalls for the same discount price), they really aren't worth the flip anymore. And the ones you find in thrift stores are often pretty worn/dirty even though they machine wash pretty well. I'd still pick up the booties but not the regular styles.
Hey dudes are my favorite and am going to need a new pair soon. I also do gig work and they keep me comfortable all day. I just started this reselling journey. Thanks for making videos. I appreciate it.
I sold a pair of Hey Dudes mens loafers really quick. But I still have a pair of men's flip flops that I've had listed all summer. I have them down to $10 now. Found them both in the bins. I love my bins!
