Seeing Darrell Griffith rise and fall makes me sad. He was the first NBA player to realize how the three could open up his interior Dr Dunkenstien game. He just never the same player after the injury.
@@MS-ns2pj Yup. And not to mention that he didn't practice the 3 pt in HS or College, because it got introduced on his rookie season, so he had to learn it in the NBA.
it's funny b/c he only started taking a lot of 3s out of necessity after his back injury in '86 limited his mobility. otherwise he'd be known more as a post-up scorer
@@jesses5463 Bird is more than likely the most diverse and complete players in the history of the NBA. He did everything. He was a point/small/power forward.
Didn't know Harden was so high. He'll be 2nd all-time at the end of his career. Lillard is also going to pass Reggie. LeBron's probbaly going to finish 7th all-time.
nice assumption but having Dame at 3rd placer? is not gonna happen HAHAHA@@davidwilliams316 He isn't doing well at the Bucks though, He is not at trail blazers anymore. Stop day dreaming.
Harden got 43 made 3 already for only 8 games and Dame got 36 for 10 games HAHAHAHAHA Dame also had 1-8 & 2-10 & 1-6 shot attempts for 3 HAHAHAHAHA then you are saying he's gonna get the spot 3? What a bummer HAHAHAHa @@davidwilliams316
World B. Free couldn't muster higher than 3rd, nice run though. Now all we need is Fat Lever 😮 Thought no one would catch Reggie Miller, he was Babe Ruth for awhile, until Ray Allen blasted right past him. Curry really turned it on the last few years.
Steph Curry is going to be solidified number one I don’t think anyone will catch him. Rest of the guys on list will be washed away with how many threes are shot today players will shoot up there fast.
Carter and Finley are great examples of expanding their game to not being reduced to be a dunking machine.
Peja Stojaković is not Croatian, he is from Serbia
Thanks!
Very Impressed with Vince ending up on this list .. as well as Jason Kidd..... Changing up the game a little at old age.... 👈👈🍇
Too bad the 3 point line came in just before The Sonics Great guard Fred Brown retired. They didn't call him "Downtown Freddie Brown" for nothing!
Of the people on the list at the end I think Harden, Lillard and Klay Thompson will end up with more 3's than Ray Allen. Nobody will get past Curry.
I'd love to see a season without a 3pt shot. Seriously curious how that would pan out with the current crop of players.
@@edwells4769 THIS. The 3 pt spam we have today ruined the game. It's boring to watch. I love to see guys post it up like Shaq did in his day.
I agree
6:41..All the three point shooters, in the top 10, please allow me to bump thee"
That is just because they played in different era. Passing Ray doesn't make them greater
Steph numbers are just so fast lol
And damain at the start
That’s because that’s all he does. He’s a great shooting guard, but an average point guard.
Different game. And that's all he has. Take that away from Curry and what is he? A bit over an average point guard.
@@MS-ns2pj No. Better than that, but not in class of Magic or Stockton.

It'd be cool if you put the retirement year after the number to see how long ago they set their number.

I remember him well. Great player.
I see why they viewed Bird as the greatest shooter.
Yes. If the 3 point shot had been focused on back then like it is now, he would be at the top of the list.
