Absolutely loving this series so far and I can't wait for the next installment, I absolutely love the idea and it looks incredible so far, nice work as always!
Seeing you work on this gives me so much inspiration to make a similar project but based around my home country Australia, featuring areas like the Junee rail yard and roundhouse all the way through to Young and further.
I long for the day I'm able to do so when I've enough time, space and money lol
Thanks for being an incredible inspiration, your dioramas and model railways are truly stunning.

After the interesting videos with the laser cutter which I can’t afford, it’s nice to see you back modeling. To take on a project replicating a real place is a daunting challenge which you are rising to with your usual attention to detail. Can’t wait for the next video. Great job

I came across your channel because I was looking for videos on making a river scene. I then bing watch all the videos. Your modelling skills are outstanding and the way you capture that on video is very informative and watchable. Loving the SDR build series. Thanks very much for taking the time to share your techniques, I will definitely be using some on my over layout build. Best wishes Mark

    Hi Andy 👋
Another fantastic quality video..... thank you 😊
As mentioned in my last comment's, I'd gotten myself into a bit of a pickle ( due to my "scatter gun" approach, starting far too many projects because of not having the money or knowledge of how to wire up my track and prepare the points etc ). I totally lost my mojo, stopped modelling and just played trains for months!!
I can honestly say that watching you work with your incredible attention to detail, is really inspiring and will definitely help keep my rediscovered love for modelling fully fuelled !!!
So thank you once again Andy and hopefully we'll see another brilliant video on your channel real soon 😀
    All the very best

Definitely Andy, I had a stinking cold last week and it was freezing temperatures outside...... Yet whenever I had time after work, I was straight out to the garage to crack on with the build 👍
      Absolutely loving it ❤️
      Kindest regards

Hi Andy. Thanks for the shop plug.
That’s great progress on Staverton. I’m particularly impressed with the gates and tool shed. I think I’ll be following you on those.
Regarding the points only the two next to Bishopsbridge SB are visible, those in the yard are covered to rail top height with ballast and ash and would be a waste of a bullhead one so you have the option of using code 75 and saving some cash.
I’ve gone for the 40s weekend as it allows running short freight between Buckfastleigh and Staverton but it will be interesting to see what you decide on.
Thanks again for a great video. Mark.

Thanks Mark, those are very useful suggestions (as always) and will save me some cash!! I haven't been out to the shop much recently but it will be good to catch up soon. What I save on the points I can put towards rolling stock!

Amazing construction skills and stunning attention to detail, as always. I'd vote for the beer festival!
When everything's finished, I very much hope it'll be on public display- I'd make special trip from Olde London Towne to see it.
The Lego brick tip is one to remember! I have a couple of steel blocks but they're too big to use for smaller items, and I have a small box of Lego hidden somewhere, I must dig it out.

Nice Update, You could do a hybrid working yard/event like when the GCR did a Railways at Work event which involved alot of events around a working goods yard whilst people watched on, theres plenty of videos on YT from it for reference. Layout is coming on nicely! I need to think about the best way to do a platform as mine is going to be on a slight curve which makes things more awkward! Cheers, Michael

Very nice progress this time. I'm enjoying watching your processes... thoughts as well as whether to use "machine" technology or create parts manually. Each has its purpose and use and it's interesting to me to see how to choose.
As for whether to make that area a working yard or "event", it depends on the "feel" you're trying to create. A working yard is more sombre, an "event, more celebratory. An "event" would give much more life to that area, but it is limiting the scene to that certain time. A working yard is more "open" time-wise, but has less activity/ life. I'll leave the decision to you, since it's your project. 🥰
