- My lambs are still rather skittish around me even after being here for over three months. I spend some quality time with them to help ease their stress with me while I provide a homestead update.

We just started building our homestead and want to raise sheep (amongst other animals), so it’s good seeing how your sheep are adjusting. Looking forward to more of your videos! Take care!

Why do you have the sheep in the mobile pen rather than in netting?
saves a lot of time not having to set up and break down fencing every day

some batteries can but not this kind
Seems all is well there out west. Them tractors sure are handy. Wouldn’t trade mine for anything.

Hi Dan and Little Buddy, Very strange Summer in VT.
The Heat was so extreme that my Cucumbers are growing into balls 😨.
I picked them all off now that the weather is 80° and under . They are growing straight again !
Sorry your Lambs are skitty still. Try having Little Buddy scratch them with a stick. He is shorter and not so intimidating 😊.

yes, I've had them every year since 2017 but only in the warmer months of the year

Animal trust is build over consistant, predictable actions, tone of voice, respect & listening. & or course... time!!!

A friend of mine welded it for me.
I have had store bought lamb before and the taste differs from store to store. When you cull your sheep does it taste better? or does it have that strong lamby flavor?
katahdins have a mild flavor - way better than store-bought
