Fun thing. Gotta say one of the Doom covers of E1M1 made a mix of electronic AND orchestra together in some bits. It goes well enough. So i wouldn't say it has no use in doom tbh.
I really liked this song, but it kind of loses the characteristics that make it sound like Bloodborne. Rather than a "Doom cover" or "X in the style of Doom" I think it is more of a reimagining of the original work. I think the difference in the styles is too great. Either way, loved it, and you should do more.
This is probably the most badass cover i’ve ever heard in my life, and i get a feeling from it as if the song is the embodiment of whatever madness the moonlight blade and it’s “guidance” gives, more specifically when the main hunter begins to lose himself to it.
Nah man the blade isnt causing any madness, it's actually the beast blood that made him into a beast. The more a hunter hunts, the more mad they become.
It's actually the exact opposite! The beast blood is a disease that has corrupted the mind of this great hunter. The Moonlight Greatsword helps him regain a semblance of his humanity. The original chanting in the song is in Latin, which depicts the Sword pleading you to end Ludwig's misery.
@@joshgutteridge2909 Honestly I'd agree with that because frankly because while dark souls games are fun after 3 games kinda got stale and Bloodborne and sekiro we're breaths of fresh air and honestly I loved both of their settings and undertones

Y'know what, it's pretty damn surprising no one yet has done Ridley's various themes in the style of Argent Metal. There's a pretty similar sounding riff in Super Gore Nest and another sound-alike in Descent into Cerberon's main riff. I think you can be the one to finally do the thing that no one has asked for, but so desperately need... and do it right.
I love how this hardcore urgent metal track has a very distinct classical melody, metal with a classical melody or a choir is my favorite type of music.
I don't think you realised how much Victorian waltz madness edition is actually the perfect playground for that intense doom style genre. We have symphonic metal already, this is just the evolution to that imo. Please more. This world needs it 😹
I unironically want more of this. I love metal, especially the more synthesized and heavier sounding stuff like Drum n Bass, but so much of metal is just BAM BAM BAM, it's just one level of intensity hammering at you. This shit has a sway to it. It lilts back and forth. I could see you dancing to it. Like an actual dance, not moshing. It's great!
Can confirm the fabrication of sound waves from the machine spirits can cause auditory orgasms, we also got Tach-priestess Idols if you're into that sort of stuff.

This only affirms my belief that more metal needs to have the structure of old symphonic music because it blends together so damn well! This sounded so damn cool!
I hope I'm not asking for too much but I'd like to request another Bloodborne song: could you maybe give us your take on Lawrence's theme? Otherwise, you are an absolute beast at what you do and this remix/remake was insane!
I really love what you did the Ludwig's theme. It feels almost entirely different and also sounds almost entirely different but I am still feel Ludwig's emotions in it. Really love the work you do, and nice touch with the whispers/translation of the choir, I think it sets up the fight real nice and foreboding lol
Sounds cool, I especially like how the choir part is more melancholic than epic now. That being said, part of what made the original so epic is the first part of the piece. It is so epic because it builds up during the first half, this starting straight with the Holy Blade part feels incomplete. I like the way the cleric beast part comes in, but ultimately for me it still falls a bit flat. I should say that it sounds great, just that I think it could be even greater.
This definitely is my favorite of your "sounds like doom eternal" mixes, but it still doesn't quite capture that Bloodborne sorrowful pain that orchestra can. I also think that the English translation at the intro doesn't work, and the Latin take would have given it more of that "olde" edge vibe. Still, critiques aside, this has to be my favorite one so far.
He did mention that he shifted the thematic focus of the track from the hunted (Ludwig) to the hunter (Player character in Bloodborne), in line with the DOOM style. It's no longer intended to be sorrowful in this interpretation, I think.
@@PohatuEudyptulaMinor oh, no, I caught that. It seemed more like an issue with the limitations of the genre style he was working with. In personal respect though, I feel it lost a bit of what made the original beautiful, and if with time, and perhaps a reexamination of how he implements the Doom style, he can capture more of the original composition's moods of what he chooses to do in the future.

2. Destiny - The Shadow Thief: I've picked this track as it is one of my favourites, especially the darkness remix that plays during 3rd encounter of Deep Stone Crypt raid. As with warframe, I recommend checking out the rest of the soundtrack, as there's a lot of tracks just begging to be empowered by the power of Argent.
May ther blood on your blade never dry, as we currently need it, and let the world know that Argent Metal is here.
In more casual words, keep up the good work man :D
So random,unexpected...and amazing at the same time! Thank You
Serious suggestions:
-God-Shattering Star
-Dark Souls 3 main menu theme
-Perturbator - Sexualizer (Hey, everyone knows it from Hotline Miami 2!)
For a joke suggestion, His World from Sonic '06.
This was very well put together, you will be going places
Before watching the video: "in terms of creativity, Metal is the only genre of music that can compare to classical, so ,in theory, it would make sense that it'd sound amazing."
Mid watching video note: "How dare you compare Doom's soundtrack to Wap . . . . . . . . . . . you despicable creature . . . . . . . . . . you've hurt me on a personal level . . . . . . . . . . . . ."
Upon reaching the "final product" section: "Oh Yeah. It does sound amazing."
This is one of the best videos I ever found in sooooooo many months.
Honestly sounds like it would work with a Devil May Cry that totally took itself seriously
This is amazing
