The antennas you are showing are quite poor ones. Antennas in no way determine the video resolution. They are just a bit of metal you put up in the air to catch some radio waves as they go past. All the smarts for decoding the signal are in the TV. You can get digital TV perfectly well on a set of rabbit ears from the 1950s. No TV antenna has a range greater than 80 miles. The earth is curved. At about 75 miles, the transmitter tower drops blow the horizon. Beyond that the signal crashes fast. Generally the bigger the lie about range, the worse junk the antenna is.
