Antenna is make for some working frequency , not for modulation because all working with all analog and digital modulation equally. Antennas have nothing to do with DVB-T/T2 , DTV , digital , HD , FHD , 4K which is exclusive TV receiver specs.
You are right, an antenna transmit or receive modulated frequencies, DAB, DTV, PAL, SECAM NTSC etc etc it doesn't matter. DTV is mostly transmitted in the UHF band from 470Mhz till 860Mhz. This antenna is designed for I really don't know with frequency. It is a symetric fantasy design with an impendancy of 75 ohm symetric and connected to an asymetric 75 ohm cable. To convert this you need a trafo. Will this " thing" works? Yes, but as poor as every piece of cable connected to the coax cable, but as the signal is strong it's work. But the signal is not screened in the coax cable and will be influenced by every thing in the environment of the socalled antenna and cable. BAD IDEA
Antennas are never digital. The antennas are tuned to specific frequencies and can receive and/ or transmit analog or digital signals on that frequency.
Soldering goes easier when the tip is clean and tinned. Unless you just wanted to mark the spot with solder. This looks like it really works very well. Do you think that making an array of this antenna will really increase the gain ??? Nice work fella too.
@@robertcromwell9736 I wondered how long it would take someone with enough knowledge to comment 😁 the reference to digital antennae in the title was very misleading, a radio wave whether carrying data or an analogue signal is just a radio wave, I remember all the tv arial installers in the early days of digital tv trying to con custmers into buying a new tv arial.
@@AlfieDoug My dad was one of those customers. During the digital conversion in 2009, the digital TV channels weren't coming in too well for him. He thought it was because the antenna on his roof was "old" and couldn't receive digital broadcasts. I told him that the antenna didn't matter and that it was more likely the coaxial cable was old and degraded from being outside for 30+ years. I proved it to him by replacing the RG59 cable with quad shield RG6, re-terminating the connections and replacing the balun. Suddenly he was able to get every digital station in our city. It was roughly ten dollars worth of parts, much cheaper than buying an entire new aerial.

L'ho realizzata e funziona benissimo, riesco a ricevere quasi tutti i canali... Ottima idea 👏👏👏
Я́ сделал такую же антенну и стал получать странные сигналы, мне говорят, что они с марса
Funziona veramente??

You have made a simple dipole, if you live near TV repiters, a fork or a rusty nail is enough. The metal bed frame works too. 🤓

Thanks, back with this forum, I turned out to be Nikola Tesla
I want to ask... how far is the reach of your Antenna from digital TV stations.......please explain Bosque greetings of success to you always

I was just thinking why not cover an entire wall in a grid of micro copper pipe, discretely hidden as a piece of artwork. Maybe 🤔

The simplest antenna for receiving DVBT is a coaxial cable with an unbent braid and a central core in the form of the letter "T" 11 cm + 11 cm.
Yes that works well.
The ideal length can be found from
WaveLength = 300meters/MHz
Length of each side = Wavelength/4

There is no such thing as a "digital" antenna. They are just pieces of metal that don't care if it's an analog or digital signal.
