  • This channel's first wire wrap tutorial starts with a basic weave pattern for beginners. The wire weave presented in this video follows a 3-2-4-3-5/2-4-1 weaving pattern. Wood dowels and paracord are used in the tutorial because they are visually easier to see on video than tiny wires. The weave pattern used in this tutorial can also be used for other crafting applications besides wire wrapping.

Seems I have tried watching every video on weaving wire. I get a few minutes into it and never find my attention and never find to go past the few minutes of frustrating, distracting videos.
I've finally found a perfect video for starting to learn how to weave wire. Thank you for keeping it nice and simple. The materials you use plus the gloves you wear seem to keep the video crisp and easy to follow . Now I will try my first time weave with this video. Thank you again. Glad nothing fancy tossed in to distract me from the learning how to weave. Weave on!!
I'll give a update on how it goes for my first time. Thx again.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm glad to hear it was helpful. My goal was to make it clean, simple, and easy to understand. So how are you progressing with your wire wrapping?

@@soyouwant2wirewrap Thank You for responding back about my new fun hobby. Wont be long to become a real work art , or at least in my eyes it will be. I'm fumbling around with a few of the wires but its actually mostly me practicing to get the feel for the different gauges in the wires. My brain is starting to connect with my fumbling fingers to do what its telling them to do.🤪gets better each time.
Can't imagine learning from any other video except the ones you put up. Makes things so much clearer to follow for me.
I will put a pix up when I have a bit more confidents . 😎🙏.
      Thank you soo much!

This is by far the best video I’ve seen yet! I busted it out in a matter of minutes! Can’t thank you enough for your simple description. It is refreshing to see exactly what I’m looking for. Most of the time I can’t see exactly where people are going with that wire. It’s extremely hard to see. I’m trying to concentrate on the pattern, and get it wrong. Confusing one pattern with the next. “ was it under the third? No wait over the sixth??” Before I know it I’ve got two different patterns together. 🤬 THANK YOU!! Love The Whole thing. From the gloves to the sticks, and cord. Best part is the number system! It’s a new mantra for me.

What size wire is the original weave for this pictured ? I use 20g and 24g for the weave and cant seem to get the distinct pattern showing..that you have. I love the weave otherwise
