I am Arabic but growing up I couldn’t read or write in Arabic and barely understood it. I’m 30 now and I’ve come a long way. Step by step you can learn it too. Just try to immerse yourself in the language. That is a benefit I had to be fair.

Theres fusha which is classical Arabic + all the accumulated terminology in fiqh, aqeedah, medicine and science all the other feilds because Arabic is a living language and hence theres only one correct Arabic! The dialects of old are incorporated into the classical language and are all correct Arabic but such differences in dialect doesn't exist today. Theres only corrupt slang and correct Arabic thats taught in schools and is spoken on the news and is the official language and language of the newspapers and media. Yes theres alot of so called Arabs who think their slang is the bees knees but in reality the companions and imams fought against slang and corruption of the Arabic language and that is why its preserved. I detest slang and I dislike those who promote slang because in my experience its only the fusaaq and Arab Christians who do this!
