If allen is the dc it's a really good fit for several reasons no scheme change, highly respected as a dc, & former head coach, & just overall veteran coach

Again I hope that Thomas brown is retained, even though ultimately Johnson will make the play calls. I'm also hoping for Dennis Allen for DC. That's an excellent start to a staff. Things are going in the right direction for the Bears finally under Poles. Let's just hope he has a better draft.
I think Allen is a great get and brings head coaching experience. Time will tell on the Stevenson switch, maybe going to nickel and not extending Brisker?

I have no idea if this Bears team will actually win but Caleb and Johnson is the Best Coach / Play caller and QB combo we've ever had in terms of talent. Martz and Cutler were probably the most productive/decorated. the issue with that team was the bears didnt spend enough money / picks on their oline because they were too busy drafting linebackers and running backs. Poles is just one good offseason of bring in 4-6 new olineman of really turning this ship around. 2 FA starters 2 FA back ups 2 Draft picks All dedicated to this oline should turn this ship around.

Dennis Allen the DC. He is definitely one of the best defensive minds in the league. An upgrade from eberflus imo
