Presenting new ideas and prototypes for oxygen concentrators, researchers at ETH Zurich hope to avoid a worldwide oxygen shortage that could threaten humankind as a result of the pandemic.
Hi, do you have a price figure for the BOM?
What are your sources of the lithium zeolites? I am trying to make my own from regular x13 molecular sieve material modified by soaking in one molar lithium chloride monohydrate. Have you done any work on this? Do you have a web site with more information? Thanks. Richard

Will this work with bentonite/montmorillonite (cat litter)? If so, this could be built faster and cheaper than LiX Zeolite.
I think bentonite captures CO2 not Nitrogen which you need for a O2 concentrator, which is really a Nitrogen subtractor.

Could you please share more information and the design with us. We want to produce some for India to solve their pandemic crisis right now. It is really urgent. We are based in Germany and have some engineers onboard who are working with Hydrogen and CO2 production but we lack someone with Oxygen concentration. I will really appreciate your answer as soon as possible. Thank you in advance

This is confusing short video. Everyone knew that LiX sieve for trapping oxygen, is expensive. And then it si mentioned ETH zurich is doing research and conclude that 3 of 18650 batteries form laptop can produce lithium ..for what?? To create LiX? With no further information, seems that ETH zurich would like to copyrighted their discovery and finally consumer will still need to purchase expensive LiX. Please CMIIW.

@@raindrop5025 yes oxygenerator, there is severe lack of oxygen in India, patients are dying without oxygen in triple digits each day. Few hours oxygen left in many hospitals.

I am one of the specialist doctors in Australia of Indian origin. I am trying to help sort the oxygen crisis in India as philantropic activity. Could you please help us to see how we can scale this in India?
To scale this in india you need a zeolite which is very expensive and takes a lot of time all other materials are easy to find
