I played this kid a little bit (rented it from the video store) and 1v1'd with my older brother, but he would always win because he had an "NES Advantage" controller where the D-pad was replaced with a joystick, made it incredibly easy for him to win the side-looking events. I also never won the tractor pulls as a kid because I never knew you could gear shift. I wish the side-scroll events had longer tracks, would add some extra skill rather than red-lining revs the entire time and repairing after each race.
Also lol'd when the CPU bugged out at 15:40. Happened like once a playthrough on real console too where the CPU would suicide and spam special attacks. Also sometimes the track would turn into all money pickups.

Nice! Loved this game as a kid. Is there an opponent after Terminator?

Yes, it is the smasher. Then after smasher, it'll be the viper. Then it starts over again after that

@@andrewvanwinkle2758 Cool, I've never seen anyone bankrupt Terminator. Does the difficulty increase with each opponent as well?

@@hfcriske i don't remember if it does or not, I'll ask a buddy of mine and see what he says

@hfcriske my buddy namrepus221 stated: I believe it does. It does 'feel' like it, but I'm not 100% sure if they do or if it's perception. Only person who would know more is bisqwit since he did a full decompile of the game

@@andrewvanwinkle2758 Thank you for getting back to me. I do also vaguely recall feeling that the opponents got tougher, come to think of it we might have even tried to intentionally not bankrupt them for as long as possible.
