Nice job being innovative and jigging the spinner to get that trout to hit. I've found this technique to be effective with spoons as well. They like to hit it when it's falling or when you start jigging it after a fall.
I would like to know where you are fishing to still have trout in the water. Here in VA the truck chasers clear them out in a few days. All fish are stocked in the big holes near the road.

I've been told, and seem to believe it from experience, that if bass are hitting in the creek, it's gonna be tough to find trout.
Most likely means the water temp is too hot for the Trout to be active

magnet clip on the back of your jacket then clip your net on and its hanging round your back till you need it, thats where mines is anyway
