    Great video.
5:34 Yukari and Aigis are foils to each other as Makoto and Junpei were.
5:53 if anything, when you think about it, Aigis was suicidal in a way. Erasing her emotions that makes her who she is; essentially, it’s another form of wishing for death. Something that she admits flat out once Erebus enters the picture.

I mean, she even tries to go back to the lab instead of going back to school with the others. Like for a robot who can't actually die abandoning all the things she did while she was trying to understand humanity and closing herself off from the rest of the world is about as close to killing herself as she can get. I mean heck, even when she thought getting the answer to life would kill her she didn't really care. She only just really started processing and feeling these more human emotions a few months ago, and then one of the people who was instrumental in making that happened died in front of her without any of them really knowing why. I can't blame her for how depressed she is I would have lost it too

Thank you, the Aigis suicidal part was in the original script, but i remove it thinking it might be too much. I agree with you guy though.

@@Sky_Gaming_Academy I don’t think it needed to be said flat out, but the implications were there, but Aigis saying that she wished for it deep down during the encounter with Erebus should be telling enough.

I really agree with this. I relate a lot to Yukari especially, though I also feel a lot like Aigis. The phrase “Don’t cry because it is over, smile because it happened” always rubbed me the wrong way, yet I never knew why so I just kind of nodded and thanked whenever someone said it to me. No point in telling them I did not agree if I did not have a good reason. So I really appreciate this video; now I think I understand why enjoying the good memories is not always enough; why looking back with only fondness may not be the inherent right answer. Great video.

Everyone is different, I’m sure and saw that the phrase help some people but theres are many like you who it wont help or even in some case making things worst. And yes, if you never look back at all, you discarded the ability to remember the good times as well. Also this game narrative show that if u don’t look back sometime then you won’t know how far you have come. Im glad you enjoyed the video ❤

This is so true. I never really thought about it before, but you’re so right. Thank you for sharing your story, too. Depression is debilitating and awful, but I think it’s taught me a lot of important things. Love your content, take care.

Awesome, I really appreciate finding a video that puts into words what I think the moment I finish the DLC (The answer)
And I think it is important that people not be fooled by toxic or false positivism since in the long run it will only bring more pain, as you say Yukari is a clear example. Good job 😁

I have a saying for myself that I follow that I like to share. “it’s okay to cry over spilled milk” I don’t know where it came from but I thought about it a lot while playing the answer this time around.
