I had some Hazet tools that I bought back in the day when I was stationed in West Germany. Somehow they went missing when I recovered the rest of my tools from my former father-in-law...LOL. I miss the tools more than his daughter.
I use the Stahlwille box 13 wrenches in lieu of thin wrenches and so far they’ve been thin enough every time. Added a Hazet double open end 16-18 and 21-22 of equal thickness to complete the set.
I know this is a German video, but try this one out...Wright Tools 958. 7-24mm "wrightgrip" set. Fully polished. They are as good as Snap On flank drive. Lots of grab on the flat, very little slop and a solid beam that won't break or tear into your hands. I like your new SK set, but they killed the beam trying to make it bling.
Have had the rebranded Irwin NWS sidecutters for years. Great pliers. Work flawlessly. Just ordered the 8 inch needle nose yesterday actually! Was trying to decide between them (# 140-69-205) and the Knipex (26-11-200). Went with the NWS because they seemed to be more popular / recommended by the sources I found.
"One wrench can't do it all." *taps crescent wrench on table* "Anyways, so there I was...." J/k. Love the foreign tool reviews. I just got introduced to Wiha and Wera at work.
Have you seen how the Ko-ken 154ML on page 157 of their catalogue operates? You can see how is moves on ChrisCas Showcase 23 (keywords). It comes out at 19:25.
Hello everyone. I'm a truck mechanic in Germany, we mainly repair Mercedes-Benz and MAN trucks. It is so common with old models that only screws and nuts of sizes 8, 10, 11, 13, 17, 19 were used. It's different today. At Mercedes, 16mm is now used instead of 17, and at MAN very often 15. I think to save weight. Often, however, only the nuts are hexagonal, the screws are often torx. Volvo trucks solved this very cleverly. The screw is usually always a different size than the nut. Because then you only need a set of keys. If the screw has the same wrench size as the nut, then you need two of the same wrench. P. S. These tools are all made not far from where I live. They all come from the "Ruhrpott". Many greetings from my home country Germany, I am pleased that you like our tools so much. P. P. S will repair my SJ5 tomorrow, the brake caliper is fixed at the front right, the axle sleeve is defective and the inner joint of the drive shaft is at the rear right. I love what you do and your videos have helped me 100 times. Thanks for that. Greetings to the USA.
stahlwille do more complete sets if needed, they do a 17pc 6 to22mm no skips and a 18pc set to24mm with 1 skip . skip sizes are done in sets to match asme din jic etc bolt hex standard sizes .
Maybe that is why he bought a tool truck - Although if he keeps this up, he might run out of room in the truck. He better get that shop started.... LOL
I was not happy with hazet ratchet and liked the stahlwille better. Less back drag and better in my hand. I like my koken ratchets the best. Sold the hazet ones.
Honestly, I cycle through them. Lol. Trying to form opinions. Had years with Snap-on. Good to go there, so now I cycle through MAC, Ko-ken, Hazet, Stahlwille, Vessel, etc per job.
@@MrSubaru1387 for real, the 1/2" extendable and the 3/8" are on my list, as well as some nws pliers. Found recently that NWS partners with Sonic tools. You can their pliers there. At least on the euro site, you can
Try them out. They are actually pretty good tools and a very good price. I just recently bought a 1/4, 3/8, 1/2 Inch Drive Quick-Release Ratchet & Breaker Bar Set (12-Piece) 90 tooth count. They also come in non-quick release. I am pretty happy with them. I like these German brands but they are pricey.

Yeah maybe its just me but finlaw and me would have been fighting.
LOL :D
Beautiful and useful information from Mr. Subaru. Thank you Mr. Subaru, you’re great.
These are important details that not everyone observes, certainly make all the difference at work

I find myself more impressed by Hazet every time I see them

The Hazet ratchets would definitely be nice tools to have.

stahlwille 14 wrenches are the bomb, i've used them for decades and find them great for asian cars .

NWS pliers are awesome. I find myself using them more than my snap-on
U know a good set of extendable ratchet wrenches with a flex head?
Have you seen how the Ko-ken 154ML on page 157 of their catalogue operates? You can see how is moves on ChrisCas Showcase 23 (keywords). It comes out at 19:25.
I have. Snap-on offers a similar push/pull t-handle tool.
The hazet looks to be very well made.
I’ve always wondered why some wrench sets skip certain sizes. Is there a reason for it? Seems like it’s usually 15 or 16.
I know most sets in Japan are 8,10,12,14, 17,19 because that's the only sizes they use. Not sure with the Germans/others.

16m is the same as 5/8 have a sparkplug socket marked as such
@@harrymiller3986German spark plugs don't have inch sizes :)
Your going to need a Mr Big tool box lol

For ratchets, any of these or Ko-Ken?
I was stationed in Germany for yr and half and never heard of them
Have you taken the 1/2” extendable ratchet apart?
I haven't.
Here is one video for tearing apart this ratchet. ruclips.net/video/qZHaKHFmvhU/видео.html
After watching, everytime made me feel like going tool shop. It's all your fault! & Im happy✌🏻
Hi about how long give or take a little should it take to replace camshaft o ring on subaru outback 3 litre 6 ,cylinder
those look nice....how do they compare to Koken
Higher backdrag that the Ko-ken mechanism, but very strong/comfortable.
I was not happy with hazet ratchet and liked the stahlwille better. Less back drag and better in my hand. I like my koken ratchets the best. Sold the hazet ones.
Have the 600LGs reviewed them a while back.
No complaints so far. Had a few with defects new, but hazet warrantied them for me.
On the subaru 2.5l sohc is there a way to tell visually what gasket was used on used on 03 outback 2.5l
Yes. You can see the gasket between the block and head.
Robert, owning all theses diff set of tools what do you like or end up grabbing the German or Japanese ect.?
Honestly, I cycle through them. Lol. Trying to form opinions. Had years with Snap-on. Good to go there, so now I cycle through MAC, Ko-ken, Hazet, Stahlwille, Vessel, etc per job.
Thank you. Now I have to go and spend money.
Lol

They can be had for cheaper if you have friends in DE.
Why no Hazet 6122-1CT ? I saw this is what they use in Porsche factory so thought it must be amazing. Thanks
Man! Those look nice. Ha e you tried Tekton? They are actually pretty good tools.
I haven't actually.
