I AGREE! Project DIVA X deserved more songs and I don't like the storyline and PD FT is boring; no interaction with any of the characters and no edit PV Mode. Just play or watch the songs like a robot. We need EDIT MOOD BACK

Omg yes i totally agree. They had so much time and they literally copied over something they made years ago, kinda pathetic isn't it. I sure hope they will make pvs the same way they did in earlier versions of project diva in the future and i'm also waiting for something like F3rd cause i absolutely love the F series.
maybe they're preparing for next gen console? I mean thers always new project diva game for every new console. But i'm skeptical and highly doubt it, i bet they will "remaster" it and release all complete songs from the switch to ps5
i doubt it but not denying it. it is possible but the raw source code uses 2% of my PC CPU and 15% of my GPU at 1440p @ 165fps. so i doubt it's an optimisation holdback. Time will tell on that one /
I agree with everything you said here! I haven't been a fan of Project diva for as long as you have, but I can say that I notice Sega isn't putting nearly as much effort into the games as they used to. And something does need to be done! As I said before, laziness in the gaming industry annoys me more than anything!

カスミ i personally didn't mind PDX to much. It captured the vibe of each somg, character models were well made and the songs all had their own unique feel, whether it's peaceful in lillies or frustrating and emotive like lost ones weeping. i love kagamine rins module for lost ones weeping, the eye symbol and the whole theme, it's just i'd rather see a story in other pvs where it isn't necessary to be live.
As for me, Project Diva extend was a lazy game too ! Only 19 new songs and the old songs are the same (no new features inside like in F2nd) If they add F2nd's version of Romeo and Cinderella or Double Lariat, I will be happy ! And I want the new version of Melt, the grace edition of Cantarella. In other word, I want a return of Chance Time Event in each songs like in F series ! We don't know many things about PDM39, 10 news songs it's not a lot but we have 101 songs compare to the previous game, it's a lot ! If the game is a success, we can hope to have new songs as DLC. It's better than nothing. :/
I agree, But actually doesn't surprise me, SEGA doesn't take his sagas in a great way, so it seems to be typical for me right now I won't talk about storyteller pv's neither the FT DLC of Mega 39's for obvious reasons also if they took PDFT as a base and having several ports lately it is most likely that they will do that, so they will not retouch too much (now there are many videos on YT showing that it is not so difficult) the main complaint in my case is due to the shortage of new songs having many there in concert to put here (before it took only 1/2 years to release new games with many new songs). Maybe he is being judged very early (which I do not see unjustified since SEGA is not characterized by doing things right) but only time will tell everything Another problem is what they are selling and how they are selling it, this time announcing it like a new game but we read the small letter and we realize it's not, it seems to be great to take PDFT (or any) PVs anywhere you are but just adding 10 songs in 4 years is lame

did everyone just forget about project diva dreamy vocal? and um i guess i like the new nintendo switch game Mega 39s.. well because i just love future tone. In my opinion, the future tone modules look better than the ones used in f and the first games. What i want is for sega to make a games where its like Megurine Luka project diva like only a game for one specific vocaloid. But with more songs of course since in the games luka or kaito or meiko dont have any good songs other than like 2 good ones lol.
i guess it's that a lot of people who've been playing with future tone since 2016 get bored of it. the art style was literally intended for short arcade visits.
Well, I won't disagree of what you've saying. But I think a new game of project diva is in a low percentage of possibility right now. They're making mega39 not to make "lazy" things and copy-pasting, shader tuning, and then just like that. They're reaching out every console for the future tone updates. What I'm talking about is they're keeping AFT/FT/FTDX/Mega39s as it is, and then they're updating it just like every games on the lineup. They're gradually adding new songs for all of the consoles such as in Ps4/Arcade/NSwitch.

I know that they're just porting the arcade/ps4 to the switch but little by little, they're adding something new like songs. There is another 10(?) Unannounced songs that we will eventually know and they're also porting those new songs and more songs in the future for the ps4 version and the arcade version.

i was rather disappointed by my discussions with project diva fans on the official trailer comment section, defending the old re-release nonsense with every soul of their being, convincing themselves that it's new because it looks slightly different and has some controller mode, it's the same thing whether they like it or not. I mentioned the older project diva games and they refused to acknowledge the importance of the older games and why they actually matter, in terms of SEGAs representation of professionalism and pride. Time context matters, when project F2nd was the latest game and FT wasn't released, people were always happy with new releases because they were good and well made releases. The 30 well made songs and diva rooms in F and F2nd well out lived the 250+ songs in FT. Especially for new members of project diva, it's hard to explain why quality less is better than having it all.
I love this series. I understand the complaints for this game and I clearly get why people are upset with the recent entries, but I feel like this game is only best for people who have a Switch but not a PS4 (such as myself). But even with that, I feel like future tone is the reason the series will 100% die after this. The reason i think this is because with so many songs in FT, the bar has been set far too high and people only want more and more and more. I likely will still buy MEGA 39 even though I probably shouldn’t but I would definitely prefer a completely new game. I love this series so much but I can only seeing it die after this. This game likely should just be Future Tone DLC. SEGA could absolutely do so much better with the series because they’ve done it before, they made something so little into something so great but I feel like they won’t go back to that now as sad as it is to say. Not the game I would’ve wanted, but I’ll take it, especially since not much has been shown off but certain things are being promised.
I also don't like the "look" of Future Tone, the characters look like "dolls" rather than traditional "anime" styles. I'd love Future Tone if it didn't look like puppets and playgrounds.

X deserved storytelling PVs. PVs that showed a story and not live action. There were some good songs in X.

they aren't making mega39s. They're reporting FTDX with shaders and different keys.
