What kind of shocks do you have on that and about how much do they cost? I have a 2012 HD Ultra Glide Ltd Classic. I don't know much about the mechanics. I don't want a $1,800.00 suspension the rises and lowers. I just want a shock that I can adjust the air pressure to comfort my 260lb frame. Please and thank you
Good info,.. question. I bought an 01 roadking. The manual seems oddly written and vague I called hd, and they told me to use 10 psi in the grom at 30 in the rear but they didn't ask the load so I assumed they were just throwing out general numbers. I appreciate your advice on the rest suspension, what about the front. My year has 2 shader values, one for the rear socks and one for the forks. Thnx
I think so, more air the stiffer the suspension less air the softer. My question is why id the manual so vague and why doesn't a Harley-Davidson tech know how to decipher it.
I have a 91 flhs with air shocks I got that luggage rack on it I want to take that off is it connected to the air shock bolts so would I have to back off air shock bolts to remove luggage rack mines like a platform
For the bike in the video you don't need any type of lift to adjust the air pressure. I don't think it will be different for other models or year motorcycles, but always check the service manual or owners manual for the bike your working on.
That's just a bicycle suspension pump. Get them on ebay. They have small displacement which makes it easier to hand pump high pressures if required. My bicycle forks run on 110psi.
My 2015 FLHP Police Road King H-D Owners manual recommends that you "ADD" 3 lbs air pressure before you bleed down the air pressure (to set it lower than when you first measured the air pressure) in order to avoid having any oil escape from the system. So you are lucky that you first added a few pounds to bring yours up from 14 to 16 psi before you depressed the bleeder to lower your bikes rear shock system down to 10 psi. Please re check your 2014 owners manual to verify that I am right befor you do this again. Hey it's your bike.
i guess im asking randomly but does anyone know of a method to log back into an Instagram account? I stupidly lost my login password. I appreciate any tips you can give me
@Reid Tommy thanks for your reply. I found the site on google and im trying it out now. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.

Can anyone tell me what pressure i should put into my rear fournales airshocks that can support 100kg of weight ....what pressure for each shock on a 04 Heritage softail .....cheers from down under
@Victor Higgs i have had a street glide since 2012 and i have the harley pump and have been riding for 36 years so i pretty sure how much i know about motorcycles go ride a soft tail . or a touring bike with progressive's shocks then come talk to me
Good job on the video. The camera was spot on and you spoke slowly and deliberately. Thanks
Thanks for including the recommended PSI for '08 FLHX at approx 5:25.... much appreciated.... exactly what I was looking for.
Most articulate delivery and the info was spot-on.
Great instruction commentary….. Harley recommend adding air to the air shocks before releasing any air, it reduces the risk of releasing oil.
Thanks for watching!
Awesome info. Short and sweet
Wow excellent video, it's really clear, easy to understand. Thank you very much 💕
Great video. Thanks for the tip. Heading out to check mine now. 🤪
Grt job,,,the ideal pressure n weight ratio was what I was looking for..
Thanks
Good info. Just purchased a 2008 Electra Glide Classic and needed some guidance. Thanks.
Hi
I need to know how to deassambly the air shocks. Will be nice to get provided :)
Good job!!! Left nothing to question.

Same year here, you ever get the info?
Thnx , good info
I just bought a 06 Road king classic. I can feel every little bump I go over. Could this mean that they're is to much air in the suppension?
I think so, more air the stiffer the suspension less air the softer. My question is why id the manual so vague and why doesn't a Harley-Davidson tech know how to decipher it.
If it has to little air you'll feel every bump as well
I come across one of these pumps wondering if anyone would know if you can air up a tire with it
Thanks man. Great explanational video.
Thanks!
thanks i needed this info
Thanks for your time, good info.
Thanks

Should the bike be jacked up off the ground when you check the pressure?

+Randall Mason No!
Would you know correct air pressure for 2016 Road Glide FLTRX?
good video sir

Good Video! On my HD gauge the needle is at 20 psi when its not in use. Would you say it is broken or is there a way to still use it?

@Issac Roberto Instablaster :)

Brilliant thank you..
Good job explaining it properly
ON FLHX MODELS: Always clear the line by adding 3-5 psi 21-35 kPa before releasing air from the pump's valve, but do not exceed 50 psi 345 kPa
great video

Mine won't pump up. Says 0

@@frankmirandosr875 Hose is disconnected.
You don't need to take the bag off you just have to open the lid.
what about a 2003 fatboy?
It’s a pain in the ass to remove that bag every time.
Harley Davison…interesting
not impressed with harley so called air ride they should call it air assist cause its pretty much useless
