There is only a primary cat on the downpipe of this car.
You added a second for no reason, yes that first resonator looks like a Cat I promise you it’s not.
There isn’t even a part number in my VW catalog for a secondary cat on any golf R ever.
This is pretty much perfect.
Now that's a happy costumer right there 😄

Need a down pipe. That factory cat that’s connected to the turbo muffles the sound just a little

That thing took off
R mode is going to open up the flap on the exhaust. Not gonna do anything as far as sound anymore.
The valves yes but also it has a crackle tune from factory that only activates in race/pure exhaust setting. Gives you crackles on overrun and when revving.
Sound like I need to do mine!!

yea I used to hate all theses types of cars I only liked v8s but my brother bought a 2012 gti and I drove like 5 times the handleing is amazing and love the sound of the exhaust it's sucks because it broke then he let sit in my aunt yard forever then gave to me sister he didn't care about the car but I loved it.

Cats eat up the sound… that’s why it sounds like a vacuum under load. Needs high flow primary cat, OPF delete, resonator and muffler and it’ll sound much better under load
North American spec cars don't have opf

Sounds bad! If you can afford the car spend the money and do a proper turbo back exhaust and keep the flaps control. My opion of course.
