- i got my personal color test done in south korea and it was really fun! personal color analysis categorizes people into different color seasons based on the colors and tones that best harmonize with a person’s face. i feel like i knew 80% of the things i learned already bc of normal trial and error over the years, but it was really nice to have someone else verify it lol. alsooo at the end of the day, it’s best to just wear what you want. i prefer dewy foundations, love navy blue, and am starting to like pastels, and i’m going to enjoy those regardless of these results. hope you enjoy!!

Finally found the one who have the same skin tone with me. I'm tan with warm undertone, i think if you want to do more calm muted looks you can choose the dark autumn palette but if you want a more contrasting colorful look try looking at the bright spring ones, look into some of the darker color in dark winter works for me too

Honestly the bright/rich chroma yellow, blues,pinks, and red colors looked better on you to me. You came a live with the bright spring and winter red. I’m not professional but I do feel a lot of deeper or tanned skinned people get mistyped and more muted or blended types.
i do know that i love wearing winter red! but i also gravitate towards a lot of the autumn dark colors naturally. it’s interesting for sure
Agree. The dark autumn colors looked good on her but I loved the bright spring and bright winter even more! The mited autumn was not good at all, way too toned down for her. I don't understand how that was her second best palette. But perhaps it was better to see in person.

Thanks for posting this, I’ve been looking for a color analysis on someone with my skin tone! The person you consulted is a more experienced on Korean skin tones for sure! You have black hair so you actually look good in the winter colours…essentially all the colours she said don’t suit you that well. They are so quick to classify all brown skin into warm autumn, but you seem to be a winter. Very similar to Priyanka chopra as well! Also light pink looks amazing on you!
Priyanka Chopra is a dark autumn, but she can wear some dark winter clothes (same as the vlogger). DA & DW are sister palettes & can borrow colors from each other. If you're a POC, the darker skin tone lets you carry off more colors. (I'm a TA/ DA & POC too).
thank you! i definitely think i'm more suited for autumn, as those are the colors i've naturally found myself gravitating towards over the years, but i agree some winter colors do look nice!

@@jannatara Hi! You are a DA and look best in warm autumn colors - the ones that she chose. However, you can borrow some warmer colors from the DW palette. I've been watching a lot of color analysis vids. Accdg to Cocoa Styling (she specialises in POC) - DA can use warmer colors from DW, and DW can use some cooler colors from DA. Our darker skin tone (not Caucasian) lets us get away with more colors. I think you'll look great in rust orange, mustard yellow, wine red & army/ olive green. Navy blue looks good too. Cheers!

You should also share the colours suggestions you got during the session
if you look up autumn dark & autumn mute color palettes, it should come up! she gave me a card with like 5 colors on it haha, so the full range of colors are better searched online
I find it a little weird that when she was showing you warm versus cool colors she would show different depths too (deeper warm color vs a pastel cool color). Usually I feel like they try to keep the same depth between the warm/cool colors because a light cool blue might look bad because of how light it is compared to a deeper cool blue which is at least more comparable to the same depth of warm blue.

How long did the color analysis session last? Did you do the make up session as well?
i made the appointment in conjunction w my four other friends, so i think it lasted about 30 min - 45 min per person. we first did the color analysis for everyone, then circled back around and showed her our makeup products! after each color analysis, she explained using a book what makeup, hair, and clothing looks would suit each of us based on the result. i think to some extent, the more questions you have, the longer your session will last haha.

I think a lot of these professionals don't really work with darker skin tones, unless you're not registering well on camera. I feel like they try to make you look more pale than actually making your skin tone look more vivid?
ahh yeah, there's a lot of discourse about this TT i want to do another session to get a second opinion, maybe in the future!

@@jannatara yup, likewise it was fun to watch. I've also watched the draping vids of ASMR Twix (summer) and Xixiplease (spring). Turns out that dark haired POC can also be springs or summers. Usually POC get lumped into autumn or winter. Cheers to finding out your best colors! 👍🏼💐

As other have mentioned, she has this soft spoken ASMR voice. And you have a very genuine, sweet smile.
In the colour analysis, dark colours don't really suit me tho. And if they do, they're on the cool side.
