Hi CPHub! TY so much for the videos! I've been watching for a while and will be propagating flower stalk soon because of your vids. Also, did your Maroon Monster and other VFTs from Cook's CP survive? I just ordered 3 VFTs (Maroon Monster, Red Dragon, DCXL) from there and hoping for the best!
Been trying for your free Venus flytrap care sheet and tracker. Have sent in my email as requested, but get no response when I try it again it says the email is already been entered and still no response
There is a bit of a debate on this. I always rinse mine. Not just to rinse any dissolved solids but also to rinse anything the peat moss may have picked up in processing. I just always prefer to plant my plants in a freshly rinsed peat mix.
I wonder how long it takes flytraps to start growing again. My Ginormous has not started growing at all yet and its been over a month since I repotted it and took it inside and put it under the lights
i have another one which did not go through dormancy as it was very little as I accidentally pulled it out of the clumpy pot of ginormous when I was removing black traps etc and potted it up and had it under the lights since then and its grown very well and it would replace the one that had not grown yet if it should not do so until next month when I get the rest of plants I will order soon
That’s really interesting idea using glass instead of sand Never would’ve thought of that all my carnivorous plants are waking up hope you have a great growing season!

4:44 I would put it in even deeper than that ! the white part should be all in the soil and I put it a little deeper than that in the soil
I had to go back and fortify a few of them. I have to sit at a weird angle when I video them and don't catch it right away...

Should probably have done something after a month. How much light is it getting?
@@CarnivorousPlantsHub a lot all my plants are under a strong led grow light and the ones making traps are getting red inside them
