  • This group was for sure the craziest group I've filmed in years! Man, they were lots of fun, but serious hunters also. RW Safaris International was the perfect host.
    Yes, there are some beers being enjoyed in this video, but only after hunting for the day.
    We hunted many plains game species, including Waterbuck, Nyala, Kudu, and Impala. Full chapter list below.
    We all enjoyed the helicopter ride (56:10), seeing the amazing landscape from above. RW Safaris International hunt on a family owned ranch, with the Sand River going right through the middle.
    Nyala: 04:38
    Waterbuck 08:30
    Impala: 18:25
    Warthog: 26:08
    Impala: 28:24
    Blue Wildebeest: 32:32
    Giraffe: 38:18
    Nyala: 42:40
    Blue Wildebeest: 50:00
    Zebra: 53:35
    Sable: 01:00:05
    Eland: 01:01:55

      @AfricanSunProductions  4 года назад +1

      Thank you for watching and for the compliment. I have a few other Aussie hunters on this channel, shorter versions, and will upload a full edit in a week or so. Then viewers will get another view into Aussie hunters. David (the hunter in this video) is a great guy. He's different, no doubt about it, but once you get to know him, you soon realize he speaks his mind, does whatever he want to, he has a lot of fun and make people around him laugh. I'm sorry it doesn't seem this way in the video, but he's a really nice guy.
      Keep an eye on my channel, more videos coming every few days.

    Awesome shooting! But what do you do with all that meat? At times one would swear you took down at least two beasts in a day and that is just a lot of good game meat. Any chance of me buying some and having it delivered in Johannesburg? I'm afraid I cannot afford hunting in this economy and only international tourists actually ever get to hunt here but still a fan nevertheless.

    • @AfricanSunProductions
      @AfricanSunProductions  4 года назад +3

      Kagiso, yes it's a lot of meat! Some was used in camp to feed the clients and the staff. Some was handed out to the local people, as part of an anti-poaching deal, and some meat was sold to the community and butchers. Nothing goes to waste, even the stomach lining is used in a stew.
      I'm sorry you cannot afford to hunt, but I'm glad you are still a fan. To be honest, I cannot afford it either. I get to have the experience though. I can join these hunters to film it all, but I've never pulled the trigger!
      There are lots of South Africans hunting though. Mostly for meat. Trophy hunters will go after the males, usually the best trophies, therefor an overpopulation of females occur, and they need to be managed. Females have the better meat anyways, so it's a good way to manage the population.
      Thank you for watching, there will be a new video in a few days so don't forget to subscribe!
