@@youngchristopher14 dude that remake was slapped together and shoved out the door. No extra content. Horrible little things that show almost no play testing. They took $30 dollar dlc and slapped it together with a $30 unbalanced, again not tested, lack of content multi-player and called it a game. The fact there's no mercenaries which would've taken what, like a weekend to program in it shows that fact. Seriously

Besides that, many arguments in that video are way misleading. And I liked RE3 Remake a lot, but it's got a lot of wasted potential.
@@youngchristopher14 so this games better than RE2 remake to you I take it. All you gotta do is compare both games offerings. Both $60 bucks. One gives you essentially 4 playthroughs to get the entire story. The other has one short story with no variation. One has extra modes post game that unlock the other does not. One game gave us free dlc such has ghost survivors and more customs the other does not. The shop in RE3 remake is clearly for mercenaries and it just didn't make the final cut. The orginal you would beat faster times and kill more enemies to get the most points per run and that's exactly what the shop looks like it's for. You can send me all the videos or articles you want but the RE3 remake feels like $30 dlc man compared to RE2 remake or even the original if you ask me

Dino Crisis is funny because the guys start the mission with fucking assault rifles, and Regina only gets a pistol...
Small frail woman can not hold such weapon.
But she’ll still be the biggest baddest in the game.
I think Regina is their recon specialist if I remember correctly, haven't read the manual in years.

I just realized that Dino Crisis is almost like an RPG where you make the choices and Regina just does what you input into the game. Kind of like silent protagonists but she still talks. And it works so well.
A lot of quality humor in this run.

From the perspective of a composer; Dino Crisis’ soundtrack is a very carefully constructed kind of “controlled chaos”, where every clashing note or nutty composition is intended by design. It’s very cleverly put together, but yeah, the end result is... divisive. Hell even though I appreciate the craft, I’m not particularly keen on the end result. Broadly speaking, the folks most likely to get something out of it are other musicians/composers who can wankily go “oh i do like the use of scales in this part of the arrangement” etc. etc., or people who are already into experimental and abstract ‘orchestral’ music to begin with. I respect the bold ass choice to go in that direction to begin with, though.
So in other words, this was a social experiment to see how sound effects influence a person's mood or behavior while doing puzzles and solving problems. I guess it might have been more prudent to throw a bathtub down a large flight of stairs and hit record or two freight trains colliding or nails on a chalkboard...
@@OSYofRR Rather than a social experiment I'd say it adds that extra layer of panic in the moment when a velociraptor jumps on you.
I love the music, it immeadiatley made me panic when i played the original as a kid. And now its fun for me to go back and listen to the original soundtrack, and its oddly fitting.
It’s very avant-garde inspired. But at least it doesn’t go full Schoenberg or Resident Evil 1 Dual Shock soundtrack on us.
Well, the OST still strikes fear in me after 20 years so something must have been done right. Also, still after all this time the save room theme will start playing in my head.

@@nebitnonebitno1601 me too man. Scared the shit out of me and I was scared since the intro hahaha I was little and played it with my 2 brothers who were scared aswell. We couldn't really progress a lot because it got pretty difficult and our nerves were not strong enough😂
SupremeSaiyan shiieeet,dude i played it first when i had 8,i was scared enough of raptors but then this bad boy appeared and gave me a literal stroke lol...some years down and i turn on my old ps1 just to beat the game in one go,memories flooded in,for a 20yr old game it has atmosphere hands down,same as dc2 which i adored,those backgrounds really got you imagination as a kid.
A dino crisis remake would super scary!
When I see these play through, I feel bad for that one scientist that avoided dying to a plethora of dinosaurs like Raptors and a giant T-Rex, only to be killed by Dr. Kirk. Thats quite the betrayal

Never played or heard of it until I started to watch you play RE. Now I get a glimpse of tasty dino bites.
I love this game but every time I play it I get stuck and end up wasting hours wandering about trying to figure out what I'm meant to be doing, which room had what in it and getting lost.
Enjoyed watching a more casual play through of this game. And that without sound hiccups :-)

All they have fucked up the last 2 years was the campaign system of RE2.
Crapcom doesnt know how to do remakes or sequels anymore, look at RE2 Remake and RE3 Remake.
You guys, those were REMAKES. So they had the creative freedom to change things. If they were REMASTERS, then they would’ve been graphically enhanced games, leaving the core game untouched like RE1 Remaster

This game ain't easy, with all the passwords, ID cards and fingerprints stuff, especially as a kid i remember having a hard time finishing it

Yeah no kidding I got really scared by the trex window jump-scare when I was 5 ish at the time with my CRT TV and it wasn’t exactly big either so I had the knack to get up from my bed and close to it to see the polygons real pro gamer strats lol. Anyways I got up to see the numbers for the box I was so happy I figured out the numbers were upside down so I was about to take a victory run away from the box and before I could even react the BOOM got the soul scarred right out of me and I didn’t touch the game until I was 10 but I was still suffering from PTSD. So I was 10 and I booted up the game again thank god I still had it and my PS2 ran like a dream too. The other terror I would soon encounter was the damn puzzles (surprise, surprise). Sure hindsight these puzzles aren’t too tough, hell even some adults can solve these puzzles decently. When your that young and still naive and innocent the puzzles can really make or break the experience or pace of the game. Long story short I came back when I was 12 ish and the puzzles weren’t as bad maybe because I read everything or my brain developed more seeing trends I wouldn’t even think of previously

The Raptor sounds like the Giant Snake Yawn from RE 1 Classic. The music battle sounds a little bit similar too.

How did you manage to record the games full screen like this? When i streamed RE2 (original) i had to play with 1/4th part game and 3/4th part black screen. I would appreciate any help.
I don't know about the recording but the classic rebirth patch allows you to select full screen when you configure the settings when prompted as you open the exe file. So if you're not using the sourcenext version with CR patch maybe try that.
The door with the responsive menu before the dead guy talking on the floor. Did you hear the sound the door made after the password was in ? The marvel vs capcon selection sound is the same is unlocking the door
Wow! I’ve never caught that what an awesome catch bro! Did you know the raptors sound like yawn from resident evil? When they hiss you can clearly hear it. The metallic crate footsteps and some lab assets from RE 2 effects were reused . But still the game feels fresh which is even better, amazing what you can do with previous implementations

I’m just imagining they move that jumpscare of the Raptor jumping through the window. Like you think it’s gonna be the same window, but instead a bird crashed into it and cracks the glass. But then you run past it and then like 3 windows down a Raptor jumps through and tackles you 😂 epic!
But I think they should keep the choices is in the game if they do a remake, but I’d prefer it be a REMASTER. Enhanced graphics and maybe an added mechanic or two. But core gameplay remains untouched.
I know I’m 2 years too late. Should’ve picked the Rick option at the end, and Regina would’ve knocked Gail out. And then Regina catches Kirk at the Helo, knocks him out and detains him after getting some info, and then radio Rick that she found a Helo. Then Rick says that the T-Rex destroyed the hover boat so they will head her way.

Is there anywhere to buy a legit digital PC copy of this game still?
Just google "Dino Crisis SourceNext PC" literally the first link that came up for me (from archive org) then download the ISO. Then google Dino Crisis Classic Re Birth to find the mod authors site. The mod is literally a one file drag and drop to the games install dir. BTW you install the game by just double clicking the ISO and copying all the files to where you want to install the game.

Found it. Download the iso, mount it and just copy the iso contents into a new folder,

then just download classic rebirth patch and paste the extracted file into the new Dino crisis folder. You will then be prompted to set graphics, preferences and controller settings etc before playing.
@@adamfreeman1219 After you download the classic re birth DLL (just drag and drop it's 1 file into the install directory) Also don't forget to download the improved audio and video packs on the mods website appleofeden.de-doc.com/index.php/dino-crisis-classic-rebirth/ download the high quality videos, and ESP the high quality audio pack under the mods section (the PC version came with very low bit rate / quality audio this fixes that)
While watching this video for the first minutes, the message "insufferable chatterbox" came to my mind.
It was fun to watch an experienced player go through this game, given I've only finished it once and didn't remember that much about it.
That being said, I wish you wouldn't quote the characters so much... It stopped being funny pretty quickly.

Maybe have a cup of tea with sugar, milk and honey in it before stream, maybe can also try cigorette tea or tea with many bags of tea, or tea + coffee + cigorette combo or coffee with milk and cocoa, some shamans i heard drank cigorette tea somewhere and went on vision trip/quests, maybe not for gaming, dont make too strong if you try it, can also maybe make poppy/ganja teas, you grow poppy, when you have poppy balls you cut em with blade and take the substance and add to tea maybe, dont take too strong, there is also efedra herb they made amphetamine and meta-crystal from, maybe order it and make a tea, erowid has maybe guides, there is also some herb/root/leafs, mdma is from

Oh wow! I have just gotten off of a parasite eve 2 kick. Was playing it everyday.. got up to NG10.. only a couple of clears away from the gunblade haha but then R3make came out lol

Perhaps someone can help me... I have a sourcenext AND mediakite of Dino crisis. They are ISO’s. If you extract it won’t work, the ISO has to be mounted in order to play, but when mounted you cannot at the dll to it.. what am I doing wrong..? What am I missing..?

So as I said before I couldn’t extract the files and then play the game. It had to be mounted and when I did that there was no “space” in the drive for anymore data. However, what ended up working WAS to extract the files from the iso and add the .dll to that folder. Then I COULD run the DINO.exe from that folder. It appears the .dll itself unlocks the ability to run the extracted executable instead of having to mount it.

With 7 zip,
I think you can open it with winrar also;
But yeah, if you have “7 zip” (if not a google search will do)
right click the iso
7zip->extract to (file name)
Then when you have that folder (same name as above for me) you can’t do anything with it....... until you put that dll in there, then u can boot it through the DINO.exe
At least that’s how it worked for me, otherwise you have to mount the iso to a drive and then it’s in Japanese which is hard to play with different items that look the same but are different , you know? Lol

No idea, don't see any reason to not just throw it up there. If a single modder can make it work perfectly on moder windows 10 systems capcom and do it easily. Or work with the moder, give him a bit of money for his work and release it on Steam/GoG with his mod pre installed.

No it's a native PC release. PC release only came out in Japan though. And back during the Win 98 days. But one simple mod (literally 1 file) makes it work perfectly with modern systems/windows 10, translates it to english, improves the videos, improves the audio files quality/ bitrate etc. appleofeden.de-doc.com/index.php/dino-crisis-classic-rebirth/
You can find the PC release super easy. Literally first result if you google Dino Crisis SourceNext PC, the archive.org link. What you think about the game? You like it? If you think its good, it got good reviews, with mods it can be maybe made better, like i thought would be nice if you dies from 1 hit from all raptors if you cant evade the hit, and you could kill em with 1-2 hits if you spend a second aiming or lucky or take more hitsi f oyu just start spraying, also inv wouldnt freeze time andthose meds would recover time, like it would take few mins to recover fully from zero, like cant stop game, go to inv, pop max hp, and continue, maybe each hit could also cause some dmg, like make em slower or something
