Thank you so much for this money saving tip. I have now made my second batch of soap. And I noticed making my own is better because it's thicker and hence I use very little. I shared with my mum and sister and showed them how to make it.

Am still making the liquid soap but I have noticed lately it's been very light in consistency. Am just wondering if there is something I am doing wrong during the mixing process or the ingredients have been diluted? Have you experienced the same?

Good, though not tested, the chemicals not sure if they are balanced to avoid the itching
liquid detergent is actually really good and it is easier for hand washing everything . thank you for sharing this. i will be trying it out because this economy requires everything in bulk

Very good question. I think a hand mixer might be tricky, because the proportions are quite large. You would need an industrial size one. Besides, this is a great chance to tone your arms.. :)
I made 40ltrs of this a day before my wedding to be used for the dishes and service cleaning. It was enough until the neighbors even took some.

I prefer the the colour blue because I use the soap for washing my children's white shirt
Once I add the first four litres of water, I just let it sit overnight. By morning everything is dissolved and saves me the stirring energy and time.

And I did it. I went to OTC, asked the guard at Tusky's and was directed accordingly. The shop attendants are very helpful I must say. I was guided and managed to make green 10 ltrs of soap following your directions of course. Great Job Sue's Homestead. Now I commence using it and I shall update you on my experience. Planning to use it for kitchen, home and 'laundry' as you have stated it can hack it! Cheers!

Some of the chemical seller's are there to make money. You should have weighed each chemical when doing the video so we know the quantities. Using CAUSTIC SODA makes it a sensitive product. And since you are teaching it's best to let us know the quantities. In that case you will get people following and liking and subscribe to your channel. That's free advice for you. Cheers.
