- This acrylic pour painting technique is quickly becoming one of my favorites! Create an amazing one of a kind abstract art piece using fluid acrylics and a plastic sheet! What do you think? Let me know down in the comments!
All my mixtures are the same at roughly 1/3-1/4 paint to floetrol ratio. I use liquitex basic acrylic paint. I use floetrol as my pouring medium. Most all my colors are custom mixed.

You pouring the puddle, you moved that cup and I hollered out loud!. Then moments later you lifted that piece of acetate and I hollered out loud again. The way you put that heart color in the heart of that ribbon and then you bent it and then you kept it! Garnered you a subscription. Wow!

Number 2 is especially grooooovy Baby. I love them all. Do you get a usable skin off the plastic or does the paint stick? I am wondering if the paint would slide off a silicone mat which might have to be supported somehow. I will have to experiment. Thank you for the great inspiration.

Thank you for not talking while you work....over explaining yourself like too many other artists do on these videos. Any of us who are creative souls seeking inspiration or improvement of our skills do not need incessant chatter. It's distracting and especially annoying when the artist lacks a pleasant speaking voice. We are creating a visual. I appreciate that you seem to know that. Thank you! I also love this one!

I don't mind some of them that chatter, but it doesn't matter because I absolutely love watching you create while listening to the music you play is just calming and relaxing.
Hi, I've been watching some of your videos. Just a suggestion, I don't know what you do with paint on plastic. I have a suggestion. Take another canvas, put a light. Coat of base on it. Then turn it over on top of the paint press good even on the back of the canvas. Just like a transfer.. remove your canvas from the plastic. It gives you another painting it's a soft hazy look. Then you can just be done with it, or you could embellish it with swirls and lines or what ever your creativeness chooses to do. Try it. If you don't like it. Don't do again. Have a nice day. …….. now - can you develop this a bit more? I challenge you a bit. How about 1) flip the plastic sheet onto another canvas? 2) press a clean canvas straight down into the painted plastic & lift off carefully. 3) lay slightly damp kitchen roll onto the painted plastic & lift off carefully.
