- The 5 Dragons Gold slot machine is a follow-up to the popular 5 Dragons slot, with a few additions to the game play: During the bonus you first choose how many games you wish to play along with the associated multipliers or you could go for the "Mystery Choice" route for a chance at the big time, hopefully receiving the max number of spins with the max multipliers! The bonus is initiated by getting three or more coins from left to right on at least 3 reels which first pays a scatter award. During the bonus reels 2, 3, and 4 are extended by 1 symbol position to increase your chances for a Big Win or Jackpot! Additionally, during the standard bought games, any wining combination involving a wild golden dragon will be randomly multiplied by 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 10, 15, 30 or 40. Very nice win. Retriggers don't ever seem to pay as much as first bonuses, so I wasn't surprised the first bonus paid more than the second one. Slot Winner hits this one pretty hard and it's a hard one to crack! I think he's had 1 or 2 HP on it. There is potential but it's so volatile! Getting the retrigger was pretty cool to keep you going! I like this game! I've done much better on the deluxe version.
It's just so easy to imagine the potential, and in some ways(a lot of ways?!) it's like 5 Frogs, which I like. As you say, very volatile, but I like the expanded reels during the bonus. What's the difference in the Deluxe version?
Yes it is! I played it a while back and got the top symbol 15x! On the deluxe version you get extra free games. I saw on G2E they are spinning it off under the "grand" title with progressives!
