Definitely some of these songs are not super hits of the venerable S. Rajeswara rao garu. It's an insult to him to call them that way. Let the compilers of songs not come up with these cruel jokes on fans of the legends of Ghantasala and his contemporaries of the golden era. It's a disgrace that Saregama has lent its name to this collection. Come off it!
Well said, I am not a Telugu but I listen to Telugu old songs every now and then to listen to great/good compositions of great MDs after having listened to Susheela in scores of tamil songs under Viswanathan-Ramamurthy and KVM in Tamil. This colection is mediocre.
I am a great admirer of Ghantasala. No doubt in my mind he is the best singer. Having said that SPB is by no stretch of imagination can be branded as mediocre. He is another gift of God to cine music lovers. What to say about the great Suseela?
