Mark Tremonti has come together with surviving members of Frank's orchestra, creating new takes on some of the classics and some deeper cuts from Frank's catalog.
Mark has gifted this album to the National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS), using all proceeds to help fund NDSS give the gift of music to children with developmental disabilities.
Take A Chance For Charity is a new charity focused on giving artists / actors / athletes the ability to get out of their comfort zone, having the people with a platform get out of the
genre they are known for to raise funds / awareness for the charity of their choice. An actor can sing, an athlete can dance, a musician can sing a song out of their musical genre -
any artistic interpretation. This gives the artist the ability to do something out of the ordinary, in fact extraordinary all in the name of charity. Tremonti Sings Sinatra will be the first
release for the cause, the recipient being NDSS.

Mark says, “For years, I’ve loved singing along to Frank’s songs,” he reveals. “One night, I found an old video of him performing ‘The Song Is You’ from 1944. It made me study
how he got his start. I read all of the books, and I watched all of the movies. I wanted to do something with it. When we found out about our daughter Stella’s Down Syndrome
diagnosis, the stars aligned. My obsession with Sinatra had its reason. He raised more than a billion dollars for charity. Beneath the cool and calm persona, there was a big heart.
Doing this charity in his name was another way the stars had aligned. I decided to do this record to raise funds for families and individuals with Down Syndrome. Now, it’s a new
purpose for the rest of my life.”

Bravo….. i am speechless… Im only 58 but my mom had me at 42 which was insane in 1965 but here I am. I had the pleasure of growing up in a house filled with Tony Bennett, Frank Sinatra, The Dorsey Brothers, Ella Fitzgerald, Dean Martin…. the list is long but it got me playing Trumpet at 10 and it lasted through HS listening to theses great masters of the Big Band era which was a fun ride as a kid. I loved Creed and then remember sitting in my backyard when my kids were just toddlers listening to the first Alter Bridge Albums and loving all of it. When I discovered that Mark was singing my Mom’s songs of the 40s and 50s i was completely blown away as with the rest of us. blessings to you Mark for representing my mom and dad genera….. One of the best eras of music this Country ever produced…. And they all did it, their way!! Thanks to you and your Family!!

And the funny thing is that around the same time he was doing this, Creed's frontman Scott Stapp was on the set of the new Reagan movie filming scenes as Frank Sinatra.
I never knew how good of a vocalist he was until he sang this on the Summer of 99 cruise during the Karaoke session a week ago. My wife and I ran into him on the ship on Sunday and he was so gracious and he made my wife's day with a picture. When we got back I purchased the album this is on and just wow! Never knew how incredibly talented he is. Truly a God given talent. Big fan now.

I just randomly looked to see what Mark Tremonti has been up to, and I stumble onto this. Wtf? I wasn't expecting it to be this good.

These are the closest thing to a proper remaster of Frank's work. Not just remasters that only crush the dynamics of the originals. Fantastic work and a beautiful piece of art.
I have no words, this performance is incredible. Mark Tremonti's voice shines through performing these songs. I am totally hooked.
And besides, let's not forget that this whole project is for a good cause.

I'm lost for words. This is spectacular
Around this time 12 years ago, I was in a seemingly endless 45 minute car journey home from Manchester, with my brothers and sisters, after losing our dad to leukaemia at 52 years old. It's a moment that will forever be etched into my memory because not long into the journey, "My Way" came on the radio and brought us all to tears.
I play that song every year, but this year it's Mark Tremonti's rendition because he channels the soul, the passion, and the voice of Ol' Blue Eyes in his version and it moves me to tears as the original does. That's the power of music, but the sign of an incredible cover, by an incredible musician, one of the best guitarists currently, and an underrated vocalist. ❤️
Hearing you sing this made me think of my dad who died of cancer last year. Yeah I'm crying.
