This woman is a living legend!
Just an ordinary neighborhood, cars passing outside while she's singing this, picking up their kids or something, while this golden voice is just pouring pure gold out into the neighborhood. At least , thanks to her, the band, and this video, I got a chance to hear it again. Like good wine, her voice has even gotten better with time. One of my favorite oldies.
🎉A great song
Wow!! I love this song . She still sound awesome. I miss the jams like this. I only listen to 60 & 70 when music was real❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
You got that right, Cevia!
Guess that I'm a tad bit older than you bcuz I listen to the 50s oldies, too! Now those are the best: Little Richard, Chuck Berry, Fats Domino, Johnny Otis and groups too many to mention were in their prime up to the 80s and 90s. You might want to listen to some from the 40s, too. Howlin' Wolf was in his prime. What RUclips doesn't have, Pandora might. Look them up and discover the music that gave R&B and R&R their start. And BTW, it wasn't Elvis! He was simply imitating. 🎸🎷🎹🎙️
This woman is awesome! Never heard of her but she can get down. It is unfortunate America has not produced any musicians like her, and others, in a while. You just dont see women like her rocking out on the guitar like back in the day. Should have more.
I so LOVE Barbara Lynn...she is one of the greatest ever!
The song is already making me emotional she is such a wonderful beautiful remarkable woman beautiful talented musician.❤️💎
What an amazing woman, what a swing, what a spectacle, my God! Gorgeous!!🎶👏🏻🤟🏾🎤🎸
one of the best songs ever! and she OWNS it! Love her
I was so young then but....I am just remembering how wonderful she sang! I couldn't even remember all of the lyrics but I HAD TO SEARCH UNTIL I GOT IT! FANTASTIC...must have original!!!!❤
The folks living in that yellow house behind the stage are lucky as hell. 🦋🎼
Wow
Got that right!!!!
Close my eyes & I'm back in the 60"s----soooo nice!
This might have been her best 'You'll Lose a Good Thing". I listened to her thirty years ago on a Dallas, TX radio station. Gut and heart touching. The band support is clean good. This is her gig and she is precious...band is touching it up just right.
A blues legend and a guitar great.A truly wonderful combination.What a musical moment.!!!🌎👍🎺🎸🎸🎸🎷😎🌷🎼🎹🌟💝👑💐⛅

Great Piece of work
And that’s how it’s done! Beautiful, absolutely beautiful
My husband and I have loved this song for sooo long. Been together 23 years! Great job at the live version. Best song ever!
I'm sure I'm not the only one who's happy for both of you!
Stunning! Absolutely brilliant!
Damn, okay, my last comment...this group backing her is exemplary.
Just found her in my RUclips list. What a treasure👏🏿💕
She was truly born for this. Thank you Barbara
We still here in 2024 Ms Barbara!
I love it!!!
She said "...that one particular song keeps her working."
Oh yes indeed, she is a sweet, sweet inspiration
The drummer having the time of his life--his smile says it all!
There are 77 people out there with very poor thumb control! This is a super sweet tune! Barbara Lynn is a sensational singer and guitarist!😀 Thank you for putting this on RUclips!!!
I'm upset. Music has been a huge part of my life since childhood. Why am I just now learning about this amazing lady?
Oh wow she's fantastic go back and try to get as much of her music and just soak it in. I love her, my mom played some Barbara Lynn every day. Can you believe that she g a very me Lynn as my middle name. Good listening ~ Peace
Because you stayed with the mainstream instead of branching out.
@@1961starr49 That's the punchline to the funniest joke I've ever heard. Not even close to mainstream! Top 40 was only played in the car if friends were along.
Me Too
GREAT VOICE AND PLAYING TALENT ,BEAUTIFUL ! 🎸👑
Sing it sister!

Such a living legend.. No other artist in this time.. Can touch your sincerity. Love you and your music sweet lady.
Damn. she is real life talented good. Her band support is exemplary. Even a horn to add some quiet brass undertone. Wow.
I enjoyed too much seeing dear Barbara Lynn. Thanks for your marvellows voice and music.
Loved and still love you Barbara. You are a "Good Thing ." Loved that song!
All those young musicians are really diggin' this.
I don't know... they don't look very young to me.
ALWAYS LOVED this song!
Wow ! She's still awesome
Her voice, My Goodness! That song is nothing but the truth.👏👏
Such vibe. Wish i was there
This song is still 🔥 we play your song every time we drink or on the road✊🏾🤞🏾🙌🏾one of my FAVES!
Great song and great singer - I didn’t realize that she wrote it. Talent like this doesn’t exist in today’s young “musicians”.
I am commending this group of good musicians for providing a damn good instrument back up for her famous song. These guys are damn good in their own right. But Mrs. Lynn can sure touch her guitar like she knows what she is doing...
Barbara , your music is the music of the blessed !!! You are a beautyful lady !
Oh yeah just turned 63 remembering all the music i share with my kid's. something to remember mama when i get my calling card to go home.
BOSS LADY doin' her thing!
This woman is amazing! She is like a fine wine -- for she has got even better with age. This is real music performed by a real music legend.
There's no way this is better than she was back in the 60's, dear. Let's keep it real.
SHE IS AMAZING

@@YaoEspirito Something wrong with your ears. You need bell tine. She fantastic.
Fantastic song by a criminally unappreciated (by the masses) woman. And what a gorgeous guitar she has there..
Yea and it would have been ok if the guitar was tuned and the woman didn't have a tin ear......Ok, That was crawl and uncalled for......My Apologies
@Jonas Nydahl naw I still thinks it sucks, but i bet she was very talented at one time..
@Kenneth Liburd Maybe, but I think that's a stretch of an excuse.
@@rjmprod where's your video?
@@Ariesstubbornbutt What?
This is incredible... a gem of a performance.
She is still amazing!!!😊♥️👏🙏
This is pure gold.....what a lady! Thanks for this great footage.
Just Beautiful, Bless you Ms Lynn and thank you, greetings from NZ.
Now this is the type of randomly selected video by RUclips that I like.
I was a high schooler when this was popular. It was such a great song...my favorite slow dance type. When I was in the 8th grade, I was blown away by this group out of Memphis who had a daughter my age, who played the guitar. I loved music a lot and I thought, wow, if a girl can play a guitar, I can too. So seeing this girl playing a guitar, led me to a lifetime of guitar playing and a lifetime of fun. On two occasions, we were lucky enough to play on one of the shows where she and her family were performning in our area. THERE AIN'T NOTHING COOLER THAN A GIRL SINGER WHO CAN PLAY THE GUITAR. i never knew Barbara Lynn is also such a musician...I loved this song and the music. I would bet she is the type of person who playes and sings, because it comes from the heart and not the head. She is truly one of the Muses of my generation!
What a BEAUTIFUL super talented player!
Sublime! Salutes Barbara Lynn!
Sang !!!! Love it 💕👍🏽
It's great seeing her still at it.
Wow. What a TREAT for the Eyes, Ears and HEART. Real SOUL. Also, she looks wonderful. And those Arms. Ok Now Ms. Barbara. ❤️
I LEARNED THIS SONG BACK IN 1962 AND PLAYED IT FOR MANY MANY YEARS AFTER THAT
IF YOU'VE LOST SOMEONE THAT YOU LOVED THEN THIS SONG TAKES YOU THERE EVERY TIME
PLAYING SINCE MARCH 1960
