This man defines sanity in psychiatric practice, therapy. He's not the traditional "shrink" who is trying to analyze you or conform you but rather the whole man (or woman) living a full life with the surroundings and support to make them be and feel whole. Dr. Peterson is a treasure, a breath of fresh air, a man to be listened to and learn from. No agendas, no trying to make you fit his little mold or answer his questionnaire with the "right" answers his "profession said so" were right. He is a voice for well being and freedom that MUST NOT BE silenced or stopped. It also says volumes about Dave for showing openly so much respect and admiration for Dr. Peterson. I believe this is essential given the heat of the battle Dr. Peterson is in for liberty and freedom of speech. Dave is affirming and supporting one of his heroes and promoting him in the most powerful and meaningful ways one person can support and uphold another. Two great men going about and doing good which is the testimony of Jesus!
YES
I have recommended him to all young men and women. Some have listened to me and thanked me for it. I am lucky, my fsther was just like JP but a farmer/rancher that did WW2 and Korea. He didn't tolerate whinners.
Your comments are right in the bulleseye, and well organized. YES!Jordan Peterson explains princuples of mental health in an original way that is equisite, honoring each if us in the highest possible way. I am going to afd a description. Jordan Peterson 100% of the time is putiing our most ancient values at the foundation. He laces the current global and local scenarios exactly thebnextvrightbthing to do, whatever thst qorks out being for each of us.
This is wholesome! Two of my favorite people having a conversation.
I was eating rice and beans, as well as made my bed whilst listening to this!
I remember one call Dave took where the guy asked if he should literally only eat rice and beans. The guy was serious. Dave was pretty irritated and said NO! OF COURSE NOT! ITS A DAG BLUM METAPHOR YOU NITWIT! UNBELIEVABLE!
Underappreciated Comment lol
Frank's and beans
As a business owner the loneliness can easily be overwhelming….
Great conversation Dave & Dr Peterson

I love their accents and the content. Both, great amazing guys!
Great advice! I love it.
Thank you Mr. Ramsey and Dr. Peterson for sharing this video!
“Your marriage is a tiny state” 🤯 wow.
Free speech is the precondition for the stability of the state. My new mantra. However I would like some opinions around if,when and where this needs to be tempered.
Probably about the point when nobody can tolerate you anymore
can we hear about the lawsuit?..any updates.?
My Dad was in Rotary, and he got a tremendous amount out of it. It was really good for him... Of course, his being 'in Christ' was even more important.
Is there a link to this full conversation?
I like Dave Ramsey.
Thank you!
Love it
1:09 Dave talks about reading all the time and I felt like I wasn’t reading enough. Last year I read 3.5 books. I started “A Column of Fire” in September and it’s a thick book. This year, I finished the other 0.5 from ‘22 and then read “The Rum Diary”; I’m currently reading “Financial Peace”. Maybe you’ve heard of it?
Read ‘The Daily Stoic’. It’s a daily devotional, but using quotes from philosophers and Greeks. One of the entries talks about the quality of the books, not the quantity. Really hit home to me as I consider myself a slow reader.
Read widely and avoid the crazy social traps. Go for long walks and observe everything.
Why’s he only a doctor and not a professor?
Amazing men.
Thanks.
He was a professor for many years. You can find a whole bunch of his old university lectures here on youtube. They are really interesting. He stopped teaching as he started getting famous because, due to the political controversies around him, his grad students were getting treated poorly by universities because they had studied under him. It's a hard choice when even your best students are being rejected from academic positions because of their association with you.
An academic Doctorate is a PhD degree. Professor is a job title at a university. He was both.
1. If you want to get out of debt, you can start by cleaning your room.
Yaaaay
Look at where Dave Ramsey is in the book, it is only about a 1/4 of the way through. How many rules did he actually read from the book?
I don’t get your point. Is there only value if he discusses the final rule?
@@suecave7139 If you're going to interview someone it is important to actually prepare for the interview. It shows curtesy, preparation, and makes for a better interview. Dave Ramsey did not prepare properly for the occasion.
I would not be surprised if he has read the book multiple times. If you value a form of content, experiencing it a second time can shed a new perspective from the first time.
That not the best assumption. He could have read the whole book and then gone back to mark the part he wanted to reference. Or maybe his paper fell out of the book and he just shoved it back in any place.
I definitely didnt have the codition of free speech in my marriage, hence the divorce. SMH
can a person with the dark tetrad trait can follow the 12 rules of life and be perfectly fine right? all but rule 8 but hey dave and peterson think trump is just perfect to run this country
Jordan Peterson's actual favorite rule is don't do BENZOS or you might end up in Russia in a self induced coma.
I had a rough night and I hate the fucking Eagles, man.
Where's the money Lebowski....
Jordan Peterson is incredible. His only blind side is his simping behavior when it comes to women and marriage.
That's a stupid rule. I've been trying my entire life and i've never find any. Oh, plenty of people want Their best for you, but nobody who doesn't take the time to get to know you can possible know what you need.
Sorry to say, but if you've struggled your entire life to make genuine friends, it sounds like you may have considerable personality blindspots that make you undesirable to people.
@@matthewwilson5194 Quite the contrary. Most people don't meet minimum standards of an effective epistemology, ergo they believe lies, supported by others, and that's a battle i don't care to undertake. I'm fine. They're not.
I believe in the blind spots. I struggled to make friends when I was in middle school and it later carried on to high school, mainly because I had developed some personality traits as a reaction to not having friends earlier and was undesirable to be around in some ways. Later as I went into the workforce (and college) and became more service oriented , I ended up becoming friends with people, because I shifted from an inward to an outward focus. What can I do to “be a friend” to someone else, accepting the risk they won’t be friendly back.
@@havenbastion " I'm fine. They're not." LMAO THEN WHY ARE YOU PRETENDING THEY ARE WORTH THE EFFORT....
And of course from where I sit, solidly middle class, educated, professional, the radicals are the MAGA arm of the GOP.
Certainly not the liberals who have long sought to improve the awareness of working with the multiplicity of American experience.
Can you honestly say, economic times are better now for the average joe than they were during the last administration?
MAGA people were not the ones wearing masks while burning and looting the likes of [conservative/repressive towns like] Seattle, Santa Monica, etc. One reason is that most of us have real jobs and thus lack the time to participate in such foolishness.
MAGA are the folks that fought your wars and built the infrastucture of the country. They do the work. Liberals sit around, talk, and pat each other on the back.
@@2anonymous Economic times in the USA have not been good since the second Bush administration
@@teripittman No, the people who fought the wars and built the infrastructure are too busy to follow politics, and are way too busy to waste their time on MAGA nonsense.
